Nice building of interesting shape. I like the angled windows at the bottom.

Thankyou all.

Today's offering, a 1960's building from LA (the former American Cement Building on Wilshire Blvd)

It's not a slavish recreation - while the back part of the building is interesting it would have made the lot 4x5 (or even 4x6) which is hardly ever used by the game, so I just used the front part of the building which keeps it to a 4x3 and 4x4 lot.

I love it!! Shadows and lights look fantastic, a good example of 1960's architecture.

For a box building, that is very visually interesting!  Great way to add some character to our downtown areas.

Thanks all...the 60's seem to be a popular genre...

So, on that note - another little 60's building (also from Wilshire Blvd) but demolished a few years ago.

So many new works! Awesome!
I love your 60s style.

It looks to me like this building would be sweet as an old, established bank with lots of old money safely locked away, although I'm sure the Columbia Savings sign has influenced my thinking there, along with the overall design.  This building could even double as an old city hall, DMV, or other government office — the shape of the building gives me that vibe.  I agree with Arthur that it's a shame it was torn down.

Good job, Matt!  &apls

Wow, looks like I've missed quite a few updates. I especially like the SAC building and great job with the lighting as well.
