Here are two pictures from a CJ I've been working on forever, Acacia.

These are from Lunsford City, the second-largest city in the Acacia region, which is located right across the river from the titular city (Acacia's CBD hasn't been built yet, so I have no pictures of it).

And here's one from 2007, from "Pamplona", a Floridian CJ that I've mostly forgotten about, although I keep promising myself I'll finish it someday.

fighter_jingyu

Thank you io_bg and tankmank~~ 非常感谢 ;D
@tankmank:the building with panasonic you may find herehttp://www.simcitypolska.pl/download.php?view.254.
after register in http://www.simcitypolska.pl you can download the sc4lot and readme files at that link.
but you must find the dependency--"TG MEGA Props - Krio Vol01.dat"by youself...
cuz there must be some misunderstanding between krio and ripplejet----i don't know what happened &cry2 just read this in the readme file.

BTW,i have seen you released your work in our forum tankmank. it's awesome! have you ever been to China before?

~Whale's Christchurch~ a place nearby

tankmank

What a nice city! It looks especially good in those night shots. I really like the river that winds past downtown. It ends an interesting effect. I also like those Amsterdam W2Ws I see. They look great, as well.

djvandrake

Very nice!  Those night shots are awesome.   &apls

mrdazza: Very nice work! It's a very interesting city. It looks like some hybrid city with influences from across the world (though my guesses for the major influences in there would be Europe and Australia - the inner suburbs look more European than Australian, but the very sudden falling away of the skyline is very much an Australian thing). The riverfront area is a little Melbourne-ish, as is the balance of the skyline with the two "clusters" of towers.

I like though that despite the clear influences, it doesn't *quite* look like anywhere in particular.

In addition, the area south of the river sorta reminds me of what Southbank was like before Eureka, at least by the way the towers there are clustered.

... Alternately it could just be me overanalysing what I see. Regardless, keep up the good work!

Cammo2003 : you have a very keen eye, the city is very much based on Melbourne, probably because I have given up in trying to make Melbourne, every time I do it end up looking crap so I just made a hybrid.
As for the sky line dropping away I have found it hard to find lots that are medium size (that are any good) the size is normally very tall or very small. But thank you for you nice comment

Also thank you every one for all the nice comments as well

kevinaj

This is Downtown Fransville. One of my best cities.

I love airplanes.

carkid1998

Very Nice everyone

What is the blue skyscraper that narrows towards the top by the country club kevinaj? Thanks!

Sendona... Coming soon!

blade2k5

Nice commercial hub kevinaj   Out of curiosity, what is the tall green tower behind the Empire State Bld?

Click for slightly larger imageWas supposed to be 1400x900 , but file size is too big?

Nice work, Jayson! There's times when I forget some people in the community even play the game, when it seems they're so busy modding, BATing, and so much more! It seems like there simply couldn't be time for them to work on a city. ;)

Anyway, here's a new downtown from me:

kevinaj

Nice  ! Anyhoo, here is Downtown California City. Note that California City is the new name for Fransville.

This is what I call crowded  :P
I love airplanes.

sithlrd98

Jason , great mix of styles...looks good together!

kevinaj : you think that's crowded....you need to finish off with some of YHs stuff...then you'll see crowded! Actually , its not too crowded , I still see the grass!

Thanks...I have been messing with this city for over a year , and it looks like I have just started it  ;D
My main problem always is , when I plop something or grow a cool building , or lay a road...I look at the surroundings , save and then spend more time tweaking than actually playing. I actually played for an hour today...of course I stopped a couple of times and went back to tweaking stuff I just plopped! :D
