This is my city of Lawson, built in a London map, the only large tile. It has more than 1 million residents, with few commercial districts. This is the old one. The new one is being formed at the moment.

From my MD based off of London; Pense's downtown.

Come visit!  ;D

This is Feringinar:
I built the airport as far away from the downtown area on an island, and the traffic going to turned blood red once the city took off so I ended up burying it, but I had development along the road, so when I buried it, I put another road on top of it from the tunnel entrance to tunnel exit.  Farther down the road, there is actually another tunnel over the other tunnel on the old and new airport roads.  I loathe the Coit tower, bu in this case, it actually fit so I allowed that one to remain  :)

An area that is experiencing rapid growth, I doubt this area look like this in another 10 game years

My TLA7 on the Island.  Again growth is just starting to take place, I am hoping to have this be the main skyscraper portion of the city.  If the game doesn't develop the skyscrapers, I may plop them.

Here's a few snapshots from my current work in progress. Downtown Williamston:

Now that's one very great looking small downtown, Magee_b! The general view is very pleasant and realistic.

@banditp61: I like it! The building selection for your downtown area was well thought out - it transitions nicely from skyscrapers to mid-rises. :)

Started work on yet another small(ish) New England/Maritimes inspired downtown. Been really loving the variety that's available for rowhouses lately. A few more Maxis buildings to filter out and then I'll be pretty happy.

Really, really well done! Have you considered opening a new MD? I'll follow it for sure.

This one is from the most recent update of my MD, shows off the "core" of the CBD, so the core of the core. :P

I've been working on a re-vamped region, It's all the same principles as previously with Featherstall being the regional hub. It is all still a work in progress, but hopefully it won't be long until I have more to show you...

I've re-lotted Debussymans's Budapest Roundabout to make it functional (civic jobs) as a city administration building as well as assigning a prop family ID to each of his three color variations so there is only one lot required. I also needed to make an overhanging prop to match the concrete ground surface the building sits one.
Here are some pictures to show how really elegant this BAT creation is.

Not too bad, Lukis. The layout is good, now you need to work on some of that building repetition.
