Thanks to all of you!

Well I talked to the headmaster and he told the boys to get out of their rooms and spend some time outdoors.  Apparently, they did a little gardening while they were outside.  It must be warmer where this school is, because the ground here is still frozen!  But I came back to find ivy growning all over the building... fully trimmed and everything!  What a great bunch of guys!

I'll have to get the grounds crew to fix up a couple spots around the basement trim, but overall I think the kids did a pretty good job.  Any suggestions or can I call this one finished?

I think the plants on the walls looks a bit "flat". Thats the only negative thing i have to add. Otherwise, spot on!

kimcar

 Great add to your building .

This looks fantastic and I'm positive when finished it's going to be a great addition to the game.  I know I'll be using it.

Hi JB!

It's been a while since I last checked in here. Everything looks fantastic! I especially like the ivied walls... that is just superb.

Hope you're doing well, my friend!

Metasmurf:  Flat how?  The "leaf" spacing is pretty random in all directions and I'm not sure I can push much further off the wall without creating more problems.  Or is it more of a texutre thing?

Kimcar:  Thank-you!

Rooker:  Thanks!  Ahhh... will I ever finish anything though?  Sometimes I wonder... lol

Oldrogue:  Thank-you!  I like this newer lighting much better than version one of the girl's dorm.

Cali:  And thank-you for the endless encouragement!

Nofunk:  Thanks!  Always nice to see you, my friend!

Cammo:  I'm glad you like it.  I need to point out that this is meant to be a private high school.  The university (I shouldn't be saying this) project is still off on the horizon at the moment.

Derek:  Thanks!  I'm not sure if I'll be lotting this one or not yet.  I've started some rough lotting, more for the sake of size than anything so far, and have some definite ideas, but it's too early to tell.  There will actually be two options with this one.  A) A complete (albeit large) lot with everything on it, similar to the university  B) a modular set with individual buildings that you can mix and arrange however you see fit.

Bat:  Thanks!

Nothing to show today, I'm afraid.  My normal 8 or 9 hour day unexpectedly grew to 13 hours long so I didn't have a whole lot of ambition left when I got home last night.  (I still have to decide if I'm firing anyone today over this... but that's a whole different story)  I'm trying to clear the decks on some unfinished business at the moment.  With that in mind, here's a quick rundown of what is coming in the (hopefully) very near future:

1.)  School Pack - Volumes One through Three:  All of these are in the final stages.  One and Two were previously released, but are getting some updates on their way to the LEX.  All three are in the final testing stage right now and should be out soon.

2.)  SmalltownUSA - Collectors Pack:  This is also a small upgrade to all 18 of my original Smalltown buildings.  They will all now be BSC Tracking Enabled (BTE) and contribute to various reward chains.  This also sets the stage for some possible future reward chains exclusive to the SmalltownUSA Series.  I basically just need to finish updating the readme files with the proper links and then finish packaging everything.

3.) SHUR Project - some unknown name:  Basically the same as number two.  A redo of the previously released SHUR buildings with the same upgrades mentioned above.  I should mention that neither of these two are upgrades to the buildings or lots.  Meaning there will be no bulldozing required and anything you have built in your cities now will still work just fine.

4.) SHUR - Taft Building:  This is in final testing and should be ready to go soon.  I'll probably not release this until after the SHUR Project upgrade just to avoid any confusion.

5.)  SHUR - Lockwood Arms:  Waiting for me to finish the readme and then it's off for packaging.

6.)  SHUR - Chicago Rowhomes:  The foundations are holding me up on this one.  I can't get them working the way I'd like.  Still coming along, but not as easily as I had hoped.

7.)  School Add On Pack:  I'll be coming back to this shortly so keep an eye out here.  Some decisions need to be made, and I'm a firm believer in letting the end user in on those decisions.

8.)  Westlake Academy:  3 Buildings finished, 1 building 90% finished, 1 building 60% finished.  That's all I can say at this point... lol

Whew!  That's the first time I've laid it all out like that... it's almost scary to look at!  No wonder I never get anything uploaded!!!   :-\  Anyway, that's where we're at.  As you can see, a lot of what I still need to do is behind the scenes stuff that I won't have pictures of anyway.  So, if it seems quiet at times, that's probably because I'm working on the "boring stuff" that no one wants to see!   :D

Wow...what a list......tell me, what do you do in your spare time?   I think (make that know) I will be interested to see the 'upgrades' to the small town series... In my new region they are 75% of my commercial districts.....cause I like small towns and the older feel.....and of course they are superb....but you knew that already :D

I hope everything turns out alright at work (incidentally, what do you do?) and that you get your desk cleared quickly (and efficiently). With everything you are working on, it is amazing to see progress on nearly all of them (and such good quality at that). It's not a problem that you aren't uploading now, all that that means it that soon there will be a load of them coming up soon. That will be worth the wait.

rooker1

Wow, it sounds like you are very cloose to releasing some stuff.   I can't wait.......

JB, I think you ought to check behind the Ivy to make sure those boys didn't hide 'contraband'!

And, if you are willing to call them 'done' then done they are!
