Later on in the day...  ::)

I need to lighten these newest bits just a touch, but for the most part it turned out pretty well.  I still have the minor tweaks from last time to fix as well... mostly the small arch trim pieces are getting lost.  The roof and the back brick sections are pretty much all that I have left after that!

Wowza - that's amazing.  Utterly amazing.  The modelling is gorgeous, and I love the textures; I am totally looking forward to seeing this finished!   &apls

Pingangster:  Thank you!

Madhatter:  Thanks!  I'm glad you like it!

It seems that I enjoy frustrating people to no end by showing pictures of things while I work on them... and then never finishing anything!  :D  This is long overdue... but I thought I would try to fix at least some of those problems.  So with that... JBSimio, Inc. and all subsidiary companies sincerely apologize and offer the following as tokens of humble gratitude for your patience.

Click whichever one you like best... or click them both... it's all up to you!  (Finally!!!)

More next time,

A very nice treat indeed JB. If this is what happens when you feel guilty then you must feel guilty more often.

Thanks for your hard work!

Jon, I am so glad you returned to these. The Navy uses very simular buildings in Hampton Roads for dependent housing, so I will certainly employ them, though I may relot to suit local influences. Thanks for good work, as always.

Thanks, Jon! They're beautiful!

Jon, those could not have been better timed for release. These are just what I was thinking of for my GRV challenge. Now I just need to find a way to get them in there. Glad to see these have finally been released. Also, great history on the Hunter-Dulin building, and the textures are excellent.

JBSimio

Thanks everyone!  There are three more of these coming in the very near future (I was in a hurry to get the last couple up for scrutineers earlier), so hopefully that will give me enough time to get the Hunter-Dulin Building finished!  :D

I should mention that all five of these apartment buildings are currently the smaller lot versions.  Some of you may remember the idea of making much larger lots which ultimately "grow into" full complexes.  I haven't abandoned that idea yet... but those will happen at a later date.  So for now, most of these are simply single building lots.

Shoreman:  Relot all you like... there are also prop versions included in all of these if you want to make your own larger lots.  Just be careful with the different foundations and such... I tried to label clearly, but feel free to let me know if there is any confusion.  ;)

Time for bed...

Jon MAP is sooooooo evil for releasing these while I am 1500 miles away from my sc4 computer gaaaaaah!!! But it gives me incentive to go home lol.... Man Montana is soooo very beautiful, I so see why Vicki's Uncle moved here in the first place!!! The progress on The Hunter Dunlin is coming along pretty good there!!!

JBSimio, Jack wilds here...

imagine my surprise to find something neat BATs on the LEX in a long while show up.  It all looks good and is just what I needed outside Oskaloosa.  Everyone seems to have covered the superlatives pretty well so I'll just add

Wes.janson:  I'm glad you like them!

Geoff:  Thanks!  The only problem is that I don't know if I have time to feel guilty more often... :D

Shoreman:  I always planned on returning to them eventually... ;)

Joan:  Thank you!  (and you're welcome too)

Matt:  Glad they will come in handy for you, my friend!  The Hunter-Dulin Building is a pretty amazing place... I think I've learned more about this one than any other I've done.

Sean:  Thanks!

Vivien:  Thank you so much!

Pat:  Sorry to get you all excited at the wrong time.  :D  My condolences to you and Vicki... although at least you get some gorgeous scenery along the way.

Jack:  Thank you!  Glad you like them!

Kimcar:  Thanks!

The textures are just about finished...

I have a few tweaks to make to the red roof tiles yet... they're a bit too small and indistinct.  I'll probably also tone the color down just a little and mix in a few more "off color" tiles as well.  Beyond that, I'm pretty happy with the rest of everything.  And yes... I cheated on the back wall at the bottom, I know.  But it's all going to be covered up anyway!  ;)

More later...

Stately. The red roof is an excellent touch, and I'll look forward to seeing the finished texture.

I'm speechless. Even better than I imagined it would turn out.

Matt:  Thank you!

XiahouDun:  Thanks!

Well... I think she's about finished!   %BUd%

I got all the interior walls in there today as well... so all I really have left is the nightlighting.  After that, I'll make a few last adjustments to the roof garden and then put the whole thing back together and see what happens.

In the meantime... feel free to click this picture if you're interested!  ;)

Enjoy!

Hello JBSimio, Jack wilds here...

Incredible,  :o I like the roof tile detail, I hope it looks just as good in my city as it appears...

Thanks for the RUSA Arbor Woods (arbor-woods funny  :D is it 'tree-woods' or 'wood-woods' in literal verbage, is it rather a 'oxymoronic' expression or is it a dry attempt for funny or is it just a good name, just teasing keep the name)

I like the other models as well; this ought to do just as well in my towns...
thanx

Jack
