lovely work art but the asian building sticks out a little

iamgoingtoeatyou: fantastic pics!
Earth quake: yes very good.
Denon333: indeed very nice to look at.
Yoman: thought I saw an aerial of Paris... Great!
NASCAR_Guy: good job!
Art128: nice work, a bit chaotic though. I guess your mayor doesn't restict building too much in style or in size?

I tried to make some repetitious neighbourhoods.
I need to say though that I made these quite a while ago when I hadn't downloaded many residential lots. Nowadays these kinds of developments are impossible to me. My neighbourhoods tend to grow in wild directions. Maybe I need to make a choice in my plugins.

But with Maxis you can do some nice things. I thought...

Looks like you have some repetition going on there. (understatement of the year ::))

Yes, well, I tried to make a resemblance with late 19th century working class neighbourhoods like "De Pijp" in Amsterdam or "Het Nieuwe Westen" in Rotterdam.
And these neighbourhoods are in fact built on large scale although most people think the houses are built individually, because in facade detailing they show differences.

That's a nice pic of your w2w development Arthur.  I especially like the city walls.  Stunning work &apls

Looks good there Bernhard! Question: whats the deal with the "grid"showing through down towards the bottom?

Jayson

Nardo69

Thanks :)

About the grid: Actually I don't know. These are the diagonal GLR-in Avenue - pieces and they always like like this and no, I don't have the Mac version.

blade2k5

The last 3 entries are pretty impressive.  Great work everyone &apls

Hmmm, how old is that pic? If it is not relatively new , then I know what the deal is , or at least I think I do :) Still looks good though!

@jayson: I made the pic today ...

@_maciex_: Impressive. I just wouldn't have made the pic so dark and zhe colours so oversaturatze. :)

sithlrd98

OK , well I am at work , supposedly working  ;D but I will check into my theory and see if I am right! If so , I can make it known to who ever and see if it can't be temporarily patched until the next NAM update...no promises though!

maciex: I agree that the pic is great , just a little dark.
