Hi Callbat,

I liked what you did with your last MD, England and Kent is looking good as well.  Interesting that your first picture of English buildings has a church with a Dutch flag ;)

The Marble Arch junction looks very similar to the real Marble Arch at the end of Oxford Street, all you need is an Odeon cinema on the corner and I'd have thought it was the real thing.

I like your London Underground entrances - can I ask you where you got those please.

Loved the terraced housing you'd produced - very nice.  I think that parts of your Kent and my West End are quite similar, maybe scope for a twin town somewhere along the line :)

Good luck with Kent, I'll be back to see developments.

Paul

Hello everyone, because of some music work I have to attend to and me wanting to finish the region before I show it again, Kent is on a bit of a pause. Until then, a teaser and replies.

Replies, lovelly replies!

Pat: Thanks! Well I hope to see you from time to time mate!
Simpson: Thanks and its on Simtropolis, the name is "European Sidewalk Mod" or something of the sort just search it up on the STEX.
thundercrack83: Thanks! Although didn't you find them hard to read at all?
woodb3kmaster: Yup I'm going specifically for a London feel, thanks!
bat: Thank you!
Jmouse: Thanks for your insightful commentary! Although I find that going to a place provides a much better experience than reading or researching about it. I learned lots of things when I came to the Southern U.S. ;D
warconstruct: Thank you!
bat: Thank you bat!
paroch: Haha yes well the Dutch flag is BATted on so can't do anything there  $%Grinno$% I tried to find a suitable building to go on that corner but I could not....the entrances are availible on the STEX, just search "London Underground". A twin town sounds interesting to me! I hope to see you here later on. Thanks!

Pat

Hey Callbat I will try and come around as soon as I see you post a response,  ON that note I enjoyed the rainy pic with the bomb threat and the new teaser!!!

Another nice photo, callbat.

You are so right about seeing the world first hand. Africa was nothing like we expected despite months of poking around the Internet. Now we're hoping to visit London in the next two or three years, and if things work out, I will get to see some of the sights I now see only in the game! :D

Best wishes for success in your musical ventures, but I hope to see you back with a nice big update soon!

Until next time...
Joan

Yes I'm still at it,

and remember, my goal is to make a CJ that looks as close to London as possible, so please criticise me like mad!

thundercrack83

Well, I've never been to London, but from what I see, you're work isn't bad! Keep it up, my friend!

Pat

I never been to London either Callbat but your pics are stunning none the less!!!

Due to my lack of time (and occasional lazyness) many of you have multiple replies, read away!

Pat: Thanks pat!
Jmouse: Oooh Africa that must've been interesting! I hope you enjoy London once you pay us a visit! Theres really quite a lot to see here! Oh, and thank you for another fine comment, I hope this update suits your fancy ;)
bat: Thank you bat!

The pictures are looking wonderful again there! And like the texts and "titles" in the pictures!
Great work, callbat!

Jmouse

Nice photos, callbat. You have used some really interesting BATs. I especially like the North Bank Market in the second pic, and the reddish building on the right in the first reminds me of the buildings I saw while growing up in Houston.

I like the way you've labeled everything in the last photo, too. I am curious about the zig zag on the left side, though - I can't figure out what it is or howit fits into the overall picture.

Until next time...

I don't comment as often as I should in your MD.  But this one really caught my eye and I could resist.  Super update, great pictures and awesome choice of custom content.
