South wingston: South wingston is the district of the businesses of Lancaster since 1995, date on which on island of New Oxford was ratached with the motherland Lancaster   
1665 New Oxford is founded on the south of island, while two cities, Wingston in the north and Arburry in the center together:
1689, the mayor Builds the city and develops it, at such point qu' it reaches 10.000 inhabitant, north is then urbanized
1695: the whole small village of Jingston is bought and becomes the agricultural district, The Agryston as called amicalment the wosingtiens, the city reaches 1250 Inhabitant:
1706: The very important deveint city, my sister twins (New Oxford becomes too important) and the town of Arburry is wedged between two mastodons, and the s' choice; imose for the city, but wich dice two?
1708: Arburry becomes district of New Oxford to large the distresses of Wingston
1710: the borders of the cities are stuck and on July 8 the small port of Fronterney is bought, the s' city; extends on the continent
1745: Wingston reaches 25.000 inhabitant and new Oxford 24.000 1747: The two s' cities; combine and to create  association of Wingston-New Oxford 1756: The city Westmouth, Wingsmouth and Portmallwo are bought, the city reached 36.000 inhabitant
1796: The independence marks fine with the reign of the cities and on July 8 all the continental district of wingston become Lancasteroise
1801: Birth of the poet Jhon Orley Ringley in Wingston
1825: the city becomes important financial pole
1846 town of New Oxford takes the district of Agryston famous Willow and the city reaches 40.000 inhabitant
1865: 100 years of the city
1875: The town of New Oxford reaches 65.000 habiant and is confined and asks for the repurchase of Wingston for 125.000.000 £l
1886: The town of Wingston suffer from serious financial problems. 1895: The town of Wingston becomes Quartier of New Oxford, but the concerve city a statue d' appendix and lays out of the clean sound council municipal
1900 to 1935: The beautiful time of Wingston, large box, proposal of beats art déco, the semi-city reaches 100.000 person thanks to New Oxford and puts the city 1st financial city
1939-45: the war, on June 8, 1943, the town of New Oxford is bombarded whose Wingston, because of the businesses important and military of New Oxford, the city loses 50.000 people
1965: The city is rebuilt completely, not narrow street, large avenues, installations...
1985: the city becomes again palce finacière of the country 1995: repurchase of the town of New Oxford by Lancaster
2008: Construction of Eastern Emerald Tower



1st pci:

The strong point of the CBD is its large amenagments thought by Arthur Waves (1925-1996) for the town of New Oxford whose District of Wingston, large places, parks, much resting trees place, fountains etc.... All is made so that l' man of modern businesses feel well in this environements of the CBD or commercial quarter, each park, place carry are names, there, on this image,  is Eringley Parc for President Henry Eringley (1888-1954), build in 1965,  one of the first, then the fountains bear a different name there, Eringley fountain or Worker fountain... Finally you can see l' installation of the river with these splendid quays imagined by Francis Marrast, contruitent in 2008, following  collapse of the Worker quay.


[ Which panoramic sight me known as you, It is true, you can see the different tower imagine by Jordan Equinox or Tonks Ortew, splendid Westher Tower, Venstond Copmagny tower or Lancaster Empire building and my prefer of all there Oriental Emridal Tower, imagined by Higharu Scopio, build  in 2008, new bright burning coal, it contains many stores, Bureaux, a room of movies etc.... It makes party of the turn " dubai" , but succeeds with s' to integrate in a calmer style like the buildings which l' surround. It exitse also a hotel with a splendid sight on the river and Lancaster, for 1.250 £l, not much?



Finally let us finish by Worth tower, splendid style architectural creates in 1895 by Jhon Maxerow (1825-1905) for the city, it strong will be fortunately saved during the bombardment. It marks the point more in north of l' island like the fact the new Oxford Tower, but for the south, here you have a unspoilable view on the continent, which beauty spring when  autumn, to see the sun  in  water is needed, to see the boats ones passing, to look at the city administrative of the city, if you visit wingston, that you will see Worth Tower, It is the most splendid point and on if I leave you good evening and at Wednesday for new images .

1.6, mosaïque 2, you can see  Highley station-New Oxford East line , very to borrow by Lancasterois, to note for the comfort of the residents, the trees one put to avoid any unpleasant noise


1.7 the cathedral Saint Jordan of  New Oxford, fabulous Lancasterian Architecture of the XVIIIème century and the town hall, create in 1985, then it will become the city hall annex in 2004:
