A very happy birthday and I also am surprised at your ....hmmm lack of "oldness", from the MD I thought you were quite a bit older....
Sometimes I go into my own little world....but it's ok, they know me there.

Happy birthday, my friend! The celebratory mosaic is fantastic, as are the pictures you took in Washington, D.C. I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us!

Travis

Hi there!

I must say, I admire your work. Great layout, and it all has that matching look, like it belonged there. Every tile shows an amazing
amount of detail. As for your photoshop skills...
'skills' is an understatement...
Believe me, what you do with Photoshop is incredible. It takes what was already good and makes it even better. Keep up the great work!

Happy Birthday, too. For a while, I thought I was the youngest MD'er on the site, but it appears you are six months
younger than I. Those are some nice pictures of Washington and NY as well. Coincidentally, I'm heading up to Washington next week too.

Anyway, you're doing an amazing job! See you later.

I've seen your mosaics both here and at ST and have always been amazed by both the quality of the city building and the quality of the Photoshopping.  I find it strange, though, that you called it Deutschville (referring to Germany) yet are primarily using Netherlands-style buildings.

Which, in the scope of things, I really should not mention.  I mean, the Pennsylvania Dutch were fron Germany and were originally called the "Pennsylvania Deutsch" before their name got mistranslated in the States.

Still experimenting with some photoshop techniques, I didn't do much to this shot photoshop-wise, but I thought it was okay to post, What do you think?

If I could suggest anything about the last pic (which is nicely composed and certainly not, as you might imply, a throwaway), you might vary a bit more the color and intensity of the window lighting.  That might be a Herculaean task, I don't know, but it would certainly get you a lot closer to the way things look in RL.

Just a thought- I really enjoy this MD.
