I was hoping if anyone can post an experment here.Or somewhere in the Forums?Just tell me.If I can post it,I will.

Okay,I am going to post about my transit experiments.Part 1:Monorail
Monorails, the fastest trains in the game. But seriously, even the most efficient design has commutes of 40 mins!
I'll explain more later in the afternoon(I live in Singapore) or tommorow.
PS:Why is the actual time in Singapore 11 am but the Local time shown here diffrent?

The pathfinding engine is very rudimentary. Sometime the commuters make ridiculous round-trips before reaching their destination. And no pathfinding MOD really helps. One simulator configuration file contains a setting called 'pathfinding heuristic' but the optimal value depends on the system where the game is played and does not optimize the pathfinding algorithms itself.

So we have to live with the fact that the commuters never use the most optimal routes.
