Yes, I considered using that mod when it came out, but as my region is quite hilly the side-effects would have been devastating on the scenery. As a matter of fact, I'm experimenting with some custom BATs to hide the jagged edges and give the slope a special appearance.

Great tunnels and work at all! &apls

Here are two pictures of a layout from a big tunnel of my little City "Grabenwörth"

The "Entrance"

and the "Exit"

Khiyana,
Really great tunnel system.   Excellent way to get under the rail line.        I do have a "where did you get that?" question.    In the first picture, (The "Entrance") near the top, and the railroad, there is a set of what I am guess is sound barrier walls.    Where did they come from?

Thank you!
You are right with your guess, these are the "Highway Sound Walls", my favourite ones and can be found here:

Thanks Khiyana,
I figured those were the the ones.   I just never downloaded them because of the file size.  (nearly 10mg)   LOL    But they are pretty cool so I guess I'll go ahead and spend the time.

Khiyana - nice additions to this thread. I like the tower block in the second pic. Reminds me of one I lived in for a few months. Lived on 19th floor, views were great but lift worked maybe one day a week,ok it kept me fit but it was annoying if you had just been to shops and forgoten something ()sad()

LOL - I have been staring at this picture for a few minutes and was about to ask "where is it" when I noticed it just in time before making a fool of myself (well - that is easily done anyhow... :D)

Thanks for the comments...

Gaston - I'm not using any secrets - just lots of patience.

4 Things:
The NAM,
some Simple Filler Tiles by darmok,
a Hillside GLR To Subway Transition By Morifari,
and I use the New GLR Track Mod By El Goalio And Ebina.

(Photoshop hides minor flaws.)

ryalmighty1 - Tedious? Yes.  Frustrating when you accidentally mouse a piece of GLR over a transit-enabled lot? Hell YES. %+@#$!!  Sorry...

I might think of putting a little tutorial together, but until then, lay your rails before plopping any stations or tunnel entrances.  And be careful where you open that Misc. Trans. Menu.

EDIT:
Here's another fun little tunnel:

Awesome GLR. I am starting mine now and I would apreciate if you could tell me where you got those side lots with the fences and all. If it's yours could I have it for personal use? I don't care if it's untested.

Thanks

thundercrack83

gmavignier: I believe the pieces with the fences can be found here: Simple Filler Tiles. If those aren't what you're looking for, though. then I don't know. Hope this helps, my friend!

gmavignier - A very worthy addition but it must be stomach churning after you enter ( what with the drop to get the glr underground ::) )

The West (and more dramatic) Portal of the Tunnel der Könige (Kings Tunnel) in Ravensburg, a suburb of Victoria, Carinthia. The tunnel is located on the Queen Danica II (known locally as the QD2) highway.
