Here's a tunnel from my best city, currently on hold until the next RHW comes out.

The highway used to be an elevated viaduct, but this is much nicer.  I'll probably replace the commercial district next to the train station with some BSC parks, after I find time to download the set.

Grneyes

how did you get the entrances to look different than the default Maxis look?

I used Buddybud's rural highway wall set which are on the STEX.  It's a set of two overhanging props that are included in one of the sets.  I don't remember which set it's in, but you might as well get them all.

Cali

cool tunnels ;D i love how you did the off ramps.

Grneyes: It's actually two tunnels, one in each city. The connection between the cities is hidden in a hole at the edge of the map. Check the last picture again.

Edit: Diggis was faster.

Magnificent work done by all.

These tunnels are great!!! Is there a tutorial on how to make the underwater tunnels? I know there is one for underwater highways on ST, but everytime I try it, I destroy my tunnel.

Never mind!!! Found TheTeaCat's tutorial.

MaryBeth

If you need any help just pm me. PS it would be great to see what you've done any pics?

TTC, not yet. School started 2 weeks ago, so have a lot of reading to do. My computer crashed and I had to reinstall everything and re-download everything and start from scratch. Still trying to get everything put back together..... :'(   :angrymore:

I love the way you lay your tunnels Shiftred!

Bwatterud: I agree, the tunnel is much better than an elevated Highway.

Sanantonio: nice intersection, but indeed the grass texture is not very flattering..

By this picture, it may be hard to be visible. But there are some tunnels.
