Nice update again there Zack. This is a nice place to spend my 100th post in SC4D! Happy New Year!

Excellent update! Lots of diversity. The amusement park is awesome and adds tons of character as well.

Nice update! I really like the church and the big plaza next to it.
Happy New Year!

Glad to see you're updating again!  Fantastic job on the beach, the quality of your texturing work really stands out!

Great update Zack! emgmod's pictures are well done and the effects you added to them give them the 'Nyhaven' touch.

Scott (scott1964): I'm glad you enjoyed the update so much! Thanks for commenting!
Raphael (RickD): Thank you, Raphael! I'm glad to be updating again, especially since you (and others) like the new updates so much.
Daryl (daryl7478): Happy New Year to you, too! Thanks for the kind words.
cubby420: Thank you! The cities in this last update are emgmod's work, so I'll be sure to forward your appreciation on to him.
Ioan (io_bg): Thanks, Ioan! I'm glad you like emgmod's work.
Tomas (Tomas Neto): Thank you, my friend!
eldaldo: Well, thank you so much! I'm happy that Nyhaven is one of your favorites.
Battlecat: Thanks! You may have guessed by now from the other comments, but you're really praising emgmod's texturing on the beach. I agree, though; it's really fantastic!
Jordan (canyonjumper): Thank you, Jordan! I'm glad you like emgmod's pictures, and it's great to know that my Photoshopping is so good and distinctive.

We're going to take another diversion from the story so that emgmod can finish preparing our next update, and today, that means revisiting Kendall. I've done more work on Lower Columbia's capital as of late, so there's plenty to see there. It's time for a little "Kendallpalooza!"

First off, here's a look at Palace Square and the front of Kendall Palace. It's probably no surprise that the palace was among the first buildings to be completed when the city was built in the 1720s.

A large public housing project between the Houses of Parliament to the west and the R-3 freeway to the east.

Salem Theatre is Kendall's oldest major performing arts venue, having been built in the 1840s. While the nearby Kendall Cultural Center and Fitzsimmons Square's Royal Opera House have larger auditoriums, this theater has a sense of 19th-century grandeur that those newer venues lack. It remains a popular choice for the city's theatergoers, especially for foreign dignitaries and the royal family.

Finally, an overview of the city, stretching to the CBD. Please excuse the dilapidated and repeated buildings, both unfortunate side effects of my preferred strategy of growing my cities.

Feel brand new. Be inspired.

Good job Zack! I like how the park goes with the elevation rise.

I just wanna say that I'm super impressed by this MD.  I've tried imitating similiar cities/regions, and have failed.  I'm going to be sending you a list of stuff that I'd like to get links to for me to download via private message if that's ok with you.  It'll probably be a couple of days before I send it because I have to work.  Keep up the good work!!

penguin007

Funny, there's a Kendall forty minutes from where I live.  Nice work!

To be honest, the picture with the large public housing project is creepy :o

Three great looking pictures there, woodb3kmaster!
And the mosaic is also wonderful!
You have there a really nice city...

Tomas Neto

Nice city my friend, and I like the paths and plazas too!!!

Battlecat

Nice update!  That public housing project is very appropriate, uniformly ugly buildings are unfortunately the norm for that style of development!

Great update Zack! I like the large park in the centre of Kendall ;D
