. The new Kranzler is on the Ku'damm (Kurfürstendamm).

Even if i am not such a fan of batting night lights, i finished with the Kranzler. I tried to follow the original ilumination. In this moment it is rendering

I hope this fits your expectations.

Hi folks,

show must go on! On the other side of Friedrichstraße was located Café Bauer, a Kaffeehaus completelly in vienese tradition. The Kranzler and the Bauer were the hot spot on Unter den Linden. Here it was, where you could see famous people having their coffee & cake on sunday afternoon. Also the two buildings marked the entrance to the southern Friedrichstraße, the amusement area of the Mitte district. Unfortunatelly none of the buildings on this most famous crossing of the capital survived the bombs of WW2. On the Lot of Café Kranzler is today located the Westin Grand Hotel which hosts a Café Bauer again, while the Kranzler moved to the Ku'damm. On the lot of the former Café Bauer is today the Lindencorso.
