Looks like you've made a head start lotting the Globe Arena. I like the positioning of those ponds and the fountain, it makes things look very smooth, the trees and bushes you've placed along them fit in there perfectly. I'm looking forward to see more of that quay.

The progress on Abititi Square looks pretty good as well, I like the colourful flora's and base textures that you've chosen, they blend in nicely. The abundance of people milling around, cars parked on the sidewalks, buses picking up passengers and the overall busyness of the lots make those lots look extremely lively and attractive.

Waiting impatiently for more,

Casper

I've missed a number of updates here recently.  That new area looks interesting so far, I'm looking forward to seeing the results here!

Darra (darraghf): Hi! No worries about missing things here, my friend—you're always welcome! Thanks for you kind words!

Alex (Driftmaster07): Yep, that's the Maxis Globe Arena. I've always been a fan of it, and now that I've gotten the hang of the LE a bit more, I can play around with it even more! Thanks for stopping by!

Luke (Luke09): Right on the money, my friend! Great guess!

Casper (caspervg): Hi, Casper! Thank you so much for such wonderful and details comments, my friend! Your encouragement means so much to me! I hope to see you again soon!

A quay with...

...only one building on it? Why in Marathon, that is...

downright...

—blasphemous! What will be added on? Only time will tell!

I saw this the other day, too...

Looks like Marathon is climbing those Top 10s...thanks to all of you! Have I mentioned how you guys are the best? Just ask Shaquille O'Neal—he's knows about being the best!

Oh, and...

We're countin'em down!

In a bit!

peter007

Great stuff. It looks pretty professional
But it's guessing what is coming in that long strip ()what()
i think ?

KoV Liberty

Ooh! What will be in that long stip of land?

Alex

My new MD. Check it out if you wish.

Adrian, I miss you man.

Luke09

Sciurus

Well Dustin, I'm intrigued to see what you have in store for that arena. I'm equally intrigued to see what you have planned for those rail tunnels and that sunken highway. Cool stuff.

Take care.

peter007: Thank you, my friend!

Alex (Driftmaster07): Only time will tell, my friend! Only time will tell! Thanks for stopping by!

Luke (Luke09): Hi, Luke! Yes, we're getting close. Things move pretty fast here! As for the long strip—unfortunately, there will not be rails going there, since they leave the island on the southern side. Great guess, though!

rdrdrdrd: Hi! That's a great idea, too! Thanks!

Guillaume (Sciurus): Hi, Guillaume! I hope you enjoyed
le quatorze juillet, my friend! As for the fountains, I will check on the name and get back to you on it, since I don't know the name off-hand. Take care, my friend!

Geoff (calibanX): Hello, Geoff! Thanks so much for your kind words, and hopefully, we can get your questions answered soon, my friend!

Tomas Neto: Thanks!

I'm still trudging away with some yard work, but I did manage to catch...

...the sunrise in Marathon this morning!

And—

For now, it's back to the yard for me, though!

More to come!

art128

128 !  :D
What a sunrise there Dustin, i like the mix of old with the Parisian W2W development and the new with skyscrapers and buildings. The market at the bottom looks nice and also, great work on the effect.
Take care,
-Arthur.

Well... If you ever want to have a cruise ship port (Commonwealth would attract A LOT of tourists). You can use this as a point of reference from my MD if you want.

My new MD. Check it out if you wish.

Adrian, I miss you man.

Utvaw

Although I follow this MD I don't think I have ever posted here.

I just wanted to say that you do fantastic work, one of the best here in my opinion, and this diary is a lot of inspiration to do things to my own cities.  Your LE skills are great, and I might start looking at the LE as well.

So keep up the great work and here is one more post towards 2000.

Dustin,my friend...I did nothing more than try to create a small canvas for yourself and other MD'ers to paint their imaginations on! I can only visualize a fraction of what you and others can put together as I do not have the skills nor the patience to create such cool things! Also,if it wasn't for David (Dedgren) creating the originals and Ebina san , helping enormously with the pathing, I would not have been able to have seen you do exactly what I was thinking when I started doing them! (of course I do think they need a few trees and a light or 2 :P) Thank you for using them!

Pat
