Hi, Im having  some trouble with the LE. After I modified a lot like ''1 International Finance Center CO$$$ PLOP_115b7a2e'' I go into sc4 and the lot base didnt change..When i go back to LE I see it didnt change too even though I did ''save''. Do i have to click ''save as''?

Pat

Hey there Blues, I would suggest doing just that save as and give it a diffrent name IE "PLOP CO$$$ 1 International Finance Center"... Give that a crack   ;)

Stil need help... after I save the file can locate it in my plugins folder, when i go and open sc4 i EITHER cant find it or it hasnt changed... can someone help me?

The most probable thing is that you've got two copies of that lot in your plugins...
one in the root and one in a subfolder.

Whenever you load the lot in LE, it is the one in the subfolder that is loaded.
Whenever you save the lot in LE, it is always saved in the root of the plugins.

In game, the lot in the subfolder is loaded later and thus supersedes the newly saved one in your plugins root.

I'd search the complete plugins folder for all files starting with 1*.*
and remove all conflicting ones, except the one in your plugins root.

Always when you edit a lot in LE, make sure you have the file you want to relot only in your plugins root.
I would also recommend that, in addition to the lot you want to edit,
you only have a dependency folder (with prop and texture packs that you need) included in your plugins folder.

Remove every other subfolder to avoid loading unnecessary files.
This will also considerably increase the loading time for LE.

Hey bluesinjid,
In other words the plugins folder setup you should have is My Documents - Simcity4 - Plugins... That would be the only setup to use for any work in LE or in Game Play... The folder setup that you  shouldn't be using at all is My Computer - C Drive - Program Files - Maxis - SimCity 4 Deluxe - Plugins
