The funny thing is that I don't drive it :(, I get to nervous when try to drive, so my boyfriend drive all the time.

j-dub

You wouldn't even want to try driving on a country road in the middle of nowhere?

hey, take it from me - Driving is often [for me] a very distressing experience. Mainly because I often have my dad distracting me by shouting that i should pay attention to the road... :D ... and because I'm still on my learner's permit. Pathetic, i know... ::)

Anyway, most of my driving is done in a suburban setting, often on a two-lane road - and most of my driving is merely to learn to drive... I haven't done much of any highway driving yet, and when I did some it was amazingly difficult to keep up with traffic because I was driving my dad's truck - its gas pedal is a bit strange... When you first start off it's too responsive and you accelerate too fast, but once you get going you have to really do some pushing on it to get the truck to accelerate even the slightest bit, which is why I found myself doing 40 in a 60mph zone with 70mph traffic. So yeah ... driving's not entirely fun...

...yet.
My days here are numbered. It's been great and I've had a lot of fun, but I've moved on to bigger and better things.

Heh.  Funny story about driving here:

My family went down to Texas last April to see some family.  My dad & I couldn't go, as he had to work, and I had to run the library (we were between directors, and I was left holding the bag).  Our family vehicle is a 1995 Chrysler Town & Country.  It has over 250,000 miles on it by now.

Anyhow, Mom says to me when we get back that she's never been more scared driving in her life than on IH 35 between Austin and Dallas.  The van's had some mechanical trouble in the past, yet it was able to consistently keep up with the rest of the traffic doing 85 MPH (!) for three-plus hours.  Wow.

I can't wait to take a road trip in my Contour.  :D  Hopefully, I get to go to Texas this summer.

j-dub: I've tried that but still got very nervous.

nerdly_dood: You're right, driving is not fun, at least for me.

burgsabre87: My mom used to drive but not anymore, I think I got my fear to drive from her.

It's a 2006 Civic SI. I still love it almost 3 years later!

I just got my first ride a few months back, after leeching my parents cars for three years it was time to get one of my own.

Mmm, nice sunny day in Stockholm's Archipelago today, on the driveway at home, lots of greenery.
A 1995 BMW 325i with 220k kilometers on it. Love the 140kw (~190 horses) engine in it. :D

Thought this thread needed a kickstart. :)

Here's mine, a 1998 Volkswagen Polo Classic. I just got it a month ago, since my old car (Suzuki Alto) was wrecked in a car accident (fortunately, I didn't suffer a single scratch). Sorry for the slightly blurry pic, I took it through a flyscreen.

Nice cars everyone and as soon as I can get a pic of my new GMC 1500 surburban I will post it along with my chrysler town and country... Speaking of which I was surprised that the surburban handled so well on a 3200 mile round trip!!! That being a 1992 with already 187 k miles on it....

Here's my little one. A 2000 model Rover Mini Cooper British Open. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mini_Cooper
I live in a small town and never leaves the town with the car. mostly i just use it for driving to work who is only 1000 meters away from home. So the car have only gone 20 000 km during the nine years. I dont have a garage, so i take it to service against rust once a year.

Ah, yes. The Mini. That mini I have seen in other games. But I actually have been able to drive my car in this game. See? Now a days, this game is really too parallel to my rl though.

Yeah, I know in game shot, but anyone else catch their own car in this game? When it comes to randomizing cars, this game actually seems to know how to do that, more then buildings. Very rarely you will see an Xa in this game, as you would rarely see a white one out on the roads in real life, despite its plain style, Minis even seem to be more common in both America and my virtual city. They don't make my car anymore.
