i love SimGoober! but today the sim national museum and the Goober Aqaurium jumped in monthly price: to around 40,000 sims, this made me go bankrupt in 2 months and get the "run for senator message." i have used them in different parts of a region and even if i delete them and reinstall them, the price shows very expensive even in the plop menu.

i did install more SimGoober goodies last night, but i ran the Cleanitol remove files first then installed some of this his other group packs.

any tips on how to return these two most ecxellent lots back to a reasonable price? thanks

[ i'm all for capital improvement projects, but how big a whale tank do they want to build? ]

That is very odd...

Have you been modifying files through SC4Tool?

The only thing I can easily think of is Phantom Slider Bug, but the cases I know of... that usually sends budgets slowly down, not make them skyrocket.

I've kept both in my plugins. The key (for me) seems to be to adjust the slider IMMEDIATELY after plopping or I get the "side effects" you've described. I'm always wary about plopping the Museum because if I forget about the slider, my game is gone within months (game time).

Any chance you are on a MAC? I am, and so when odd stuff like this happens I usually think it's file juicer and not the lot (and these mentioned are excellent; KUDOS to Simgoober).

Try the "immediatley adjust the slider" thingy and see if it works.

Play well!
