Disappearing Flora

For all I know this could be my imagination, but I feel as though each time I save and exit a city tile I lose some of the flora I've meticulously placed...this includes Chrisadam's flora as well as Jeronij's ploppable water and flora. I can tell because I always cover the forest floor with grass, weeds, flowers, etc. however each time I go to look at it it feels a bit sparser.

The only cause I could think of would be doing the trick where you lower all your graphics settings, save and exit and then bump them back up to get props to appear on lots, as this is a technique I frequently employ to get props on NAM curves.

I know for a fact at the very least some ploppable water did disappear, as I know I would not have left a big gaping hole in the small lake. Thank you for any help or insights!

Does this happen with all the plopable stuff, or only with some determinated models ?? . It would help to understand the problem, if we can focus a little bit, and isolate one working and one non-working piece, so I can go direct to the point 

Also, are there other missing normal props, or only plopable items ??

Are you reconciling the terrain when you load? Random destruction all over the map nowhere near the red areas occurs for me whenever i do...

Sorry for the late response.

Upon closer inspection and testing, I've compared screenshots and it seems that all of the flora was still there. I had just remembered making the area lusher then it actually was...however, some ploppable water did vanish, that I know for sure.

Could the fact that it was placed under a bridge have anything to do with its disappearance?

And no, I did not use the reconcile tool.
