taking snap shots

could someone tell me what i need and how to take snap shots of my cities? thank you, oh and a link where i can find smoncries holedigger lots

To make snapshots, minimize the game interface and hold Ctrl + Shift + S and click with the left mouse button to make the snapshot.

The easiest way is the print screen button on your keyboard (often abbreviated to PrtScn) Then opening paint and hitting Ctrl-V (paste)

(This is game specific you can do it at any time in windows)

And for hole digging lots I'd use these by Shadow Assassin
They are identical to Smoncrie's except they have better icons that are easier to read and there is more heights and depths.

how do i minimize the game screen?

There is a dash in a box at the left bottom corner of the screen when playing. Clicking on it will minimize everything (but the dash itself).
