What exactly is needed in a dependency? The .SC4Model file and/or the lot files?

Hello!  What an incredible site this is, really; I remember playing SC4 back when it came out, and I'd never have imagined the modders and players would have gotten this far with the game!  I knew they were talented, but WOW. 

My question is:  I've installed CAM and the basic CAMeLot packages, but I think I might have made a mistake in the process, and would definitely like to make sure I'm installing everything correctly before I move on.  ^^;

EX:  Black's Ice Company (CAM Version)  -  http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1649
       Black's Ice Company (Original non-CAM Version)  -  http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1365

The original non-cam version installs the .SC4Model files and the lot files to a folder.  The CAM version install a different lot file to the the same folder.  Now, does the CAM version of Black's Ice Company require only the .SC4Model file to work, or does it need the original lot files as well?

Furthermore, if I have both the CAM and non-CAM lot files installed, won't the non-CAM version show up earlier than the CAM version, thus ruining the whole point of having CAM in the first place?

the CAM requires only the SC4Model files, and sometimes the .SC4Desc if there are some props

the .SC4Lot is never used by CAM. If you leave it, then the original lot and the CAM lot can appear in your game. Usually the non CAM version will appear earlier than the CAM version.
