Why must the decision always be so tough... Both of the images are absolutely glorious!

Mightygoose
An excellent use of flora, at first I didn't realize the foliage surrounding the islet was all cat tails...surely that required a great deal of patience. The mixtures of trees, rocks and other debris is perfect and that foggy effect definitely adds character! My only gripe is with the labels placed over the image as they detract the eye away from the beauty of the image.

Teacat
Another wonderful nature shot, yet from a different approach. The combination of farms, rural roads, ploppable paths/fences/flora all come together to form one excellent composition. Though a car or two would certainly look good driving down that desolate road.

In the end, I must give my vote to Mightygoose (such a tough choice ), making the score:

2-1 in favor of mightygoose

Umm... Was it really over 24 hours that this round started? What I'm seeing is that io_bg posted Reply #19425 on: Today at 04:17:57 AM putting the score at 8-2. Then Today at 06:03:30 AM Rooker1 starts a new round saying "a lot more than 24 hours have passed" when it looks to me like it was less than two hours - it may be that there's a time glitch or something?
