Hmmm... tough, very tough...

But I love them suburbs, something more appealing about them then the depressing day in the Eastern Bloc!

that lens flare seems a bit out of place, in my opinion.

Despite the sun giving off that bright reflection during the pouring rain (meteorological paradox, anyone?), Arthur's photo is gritty and convincing. The big houses in Joel's suburb look crammed on small lots and too peachy in tone, so:

i will add a vote for joelyboy.  both pics are very well done but that lens flare in a rain storm just doesnt fit.
