My criticism might sound unfriendly now, but I personally think that nbvc's picture is a pure masterpiece
Without a doubt... this is definitively one of the most beautiful rural pictures I have seen so far, whereas The Big Z's picture is nice, too... but in my opinion it is... I don't know... the picture doesn't attract me... the streets are quite empty and you can merely see a parisian block with a small part of the Notre Dame church...
I believe, there was a lot of work involved in nbvc's picture and that's also a reason for my vote...

nbvc for me as well, i'm joining fabian's comments. though the rocks around the small stream are a bit odd they should extend more in tho the countryside in my opinion but it's one hell of a pic!
