The first two pictures that are put up are the ones that'll be voted on (and no "I call next round").  First one to get ten votes in its favor, or the one with the most votes after 24 hours* (starting when the second picture is posted) goes on to the next round, where the very next picture up will be its challenger.  

Is there different requirements in which this rule is applicable? Just wondering, because the last few rounds seemed to have lasted longer than 24 hours...

Well according to the rules (by my calculations) you are the winner Shultzy, congratulations.
The 24hrs thing does slip by pretty often, I think it's up to the competitors involved to speak up if no-one notices. (and best to do it sooner rather than later to avoid potential frustrations) Personally I think it should just be the first to 10 to make it simple but I know there's another thread for such discussion.
