Re: image rules. Given there're plenty of folks playing on custom resolution I concur restrictions on image dimensions could be abandoned. It may even help lower the threshold to partake by eliminating the hassle of cropping and/or resizing. However, mosaics still ought to be excluded imho. Not only to prevent epic scroll fests but also because the prerequisite a contribution must be a single image provides a fair premise and keeps the competition more interesting. My two cents.

Re image rules... height should be no more then 1080 imo... as quite a few people still use 16xx by 1080. So maybe something like 1200 by 1080 is max, as width can get really wonky on a post.
