I love the simplcity of jayo's pic, and the little details (like the containers near the crossing), but I also like the vibrancy of squidi's pic. A lively, populated plaza with a fair share of detail as well. Squidi get my vote.

Great pic, Squidi, very eclectic and cosmopolitan.  BTW, what's in the pipeline?  I was going to vote for jayo's because it made me feel kinda lonesome, like singin a Johnny Cash song, but I was a bit slow.

Well, maybe I can help Squidi get to the HOF...another train bridge, anyone?

Livin in Sim: A very nice rural pic, I really like Fukuda's rail bridge and I love how you used it here..to me there is nothing silly at all about it I like how you didn't overcrowd the picture and the added rocks and trees are a nice touch.

Squidi: Many great details, love the Japanese building and the grafiti on the wall on the other building. A lot of colour also, the seasonal trees are a bit..too much in my opinion. Something a little more subtle would have really finished the picture...

Because it's so hard to decide I'll let originality be the decisive factor, and with that Squidi gets my vote.

Livin in Sim, your picture isn't my kinda thing, I like a more DT feel.  But I would like to say that Fukuda's rail bridge doesn't look silly to me either.  That happens to be the way it is at certain lengths.  Maybe you could experiment with different lengths.  And squidi......as I am a learning lot editor myself, I know how much work you have put into that picture.
