SC4 Picture Competition

Earth Quakes picture is really peaceful and cosy, but seeing the zoned area and transportation vehicles on, it sort of ruins the picture, so i'm going to vote for Jmdude with his ghetto district picture.

Zoning and grid marks AND udi icons just ruin earthquake's picture. It just ain't a finished product.

Earth quake: Nice assortment of buildings in the picture, and the layout is quite good.  However, I'll have to agree about the UDI icons, grid marks, and empty zones, they just ruin the whole shot.

jmdude1: A very well done residential slum.  At first glance, the apartments look all the same, but a closer look shows the variety in them.  I also really like the trainyard and that amount of activity going on there.  Great use of soulstealer's seaport lots to serve as freight storages.  Lastly, clever position of that billboard (where'd you get it? ) and the matching sidewalk textures.

I'm going to have to go with jmdude's because, like most people, I don't like the fact that there's scaffolding stuf behind that tree, UDI icons, the grid, and the water's edge. Other than those things I think I would have gone with Earth quake's.

warszawa - isn't the image manipulation a tad overdone for this contest? Your image is - as yours always are - artful and this one also very dramatic! I vote warszawa.

Big Daddy - two sets of tunnels crossing beneath the roundabout? It's a good picture, looking at it makes me hear the drone of heavy traffic inside my hëad.
