I'm a stickler for lots fronting the street--the houses at top & bottom of Albus's pic would have tram riders staring right into the bedroom. Soulchaser captures the feeling of wintry rain perfectly:

I like SuperTimo's picture, that's a great looking "urban jungle". But, unfortunately, all the buildings are Maxis'... and that's why I'll vote for soulchaser again.

Well I don't see why having Maxis buildings is a bad thing. They look good! But I like soulchaser's pic better.

I like both, but my nod goes to SuperTimo.  You can't knock him for using Maxis buildings and minimum custom content - I'll be the first to admit that I only recognize two of the six towers in the pic as Maxis, and the overall effect is well done.  Soulchaser's pic is good, but I'm not getting a warm fuzzy with the rain/snow Photoshop effect (no, that's not supposed to be a pun )

I'll be honest and say I'm not a fan of the 'snow' effect but the fencelines in the farmland really sway my vote. it looks so clean and well-done.

Props to SuperTimo for good use of the Maxis buildings,  I'll admit that normally i wouldn't for for someone using Maxis buildings but at least here you can only see one of each.  Unfortunatly for Soulchaser pic, i can't tell what it's supposed to be.  Aside from the obvious is it and OLD rural town, a relativly new suburb......?

My vote goes to SuperTimo. Nice urbanscape and I see nothing wrong with Maxis buildings when they're the more attractive ones.
