The last pic looks incredible! I cant get the Rural Highway Mod to work, its a bummer. Thos exit lanes, did you make them yourself? They are great.

Again, a great picture, I cant wait to see more, and congrats on finishing school!

Hello again, and welcome back to Life in the Valley, where we see what the Sims are up to.

Today, we visit a new city tile west of the town of Blackdelve Fields: Hastings Ridge.

On the edge of the town, suburbs gradually subside into farmland. From here on in, it's just farmland and grass.

A close up image of the suburban area of Blackdelve Junction. I quite like the detail that Cycledogg and SimGoober have put into their houses. They go well together.

This road travels up the escarpment that separates Blackdelve Fields from the Uplands, the region of land stretching for kilometres both into the north and south. Hastings Ridge is not too far from the Junction.

A night shot of what could be considered a little town centre in its own right. It only has a couple of stores, and if people need anything more, they go to the Blackdelve Junction Shopping Centre, about 500m down the road.

A gloomy and damp night in the Valley. Unfortunately, there aren't any haunted mansions or anything like that nearby at the moment (reminds me to build such a mansion further up in the Uplands, complete with mini cemetery).

The end of the line.

And an updated region shot.

It's very difficult to design a rural town or rural scenery and make it look picture perfect. Thank you for your inspiring picture perfect work, and congratulations on finishing school.

Now, I have the first update for my new CJ (using the Whitefall map I released on the STEX a week or so ago) ready. Now, the question is: should I launch it in a new topic way down the bottom in the Recently Published section, or keep it in this topic?

As I said, I have an update ready, but I'm not sure where to put it.  ::)

To the majority of posters in this thread: Thank you for posting, and come again! :P

Metasmurf: It will be released under the NHP banner. I actually have a lot of things lined up for release, but real life has prevented me from releasing those products.
Manuel: The small houses? It depends on which set you're talking about... in any case, you can find the 19th century houses under c.p. on the LEX. SimGoober's houses can be found there as well. I also used the American Four Square set, which is available on the STEX.

So, what do I do? :P New topic, or keep on going?

Keep going! I like to know where to start looking for your updates.

Very nice work on the RHW modd you released by the way. I just downloaded it and is going to give it a try later on.

I'll keep it in this topic, Emilin. I'm gonna update that RHW mod soon, so you'll probably have to replace it anyway. :P

Um, I kind of need one more post here so that I can post my new MD on page 15...

Here is the post you need SA  :D

I was thinking about your question too. Sometimes it is good to start something completely new - it is rather a mental question. If you start something from the beginnning, it is easier to free your mind  :) and you can have more fresh ideas.

But there is no need to do it. And there is one important reason to keep your MD going: there is a lot of great stuff and great ideas here, it wouldn't be good if they would be hidden in the archive  ;D

So keep it going and show what you want!
