I think it would be good to have a set of lots for the Simgoober Canal Set that had the set's barges, and maybe PEG's barges and scows, in open water.  In one of my cities, I have a wide industrial shipping canal, that just gets narrow for a lock down to game water, and it looks empty with nothing in the open water. 

EDIT:I would also like to let everyone know that I'd do this myself, but I can't because Aspyr never made Lot Editor for Mac.
