Both the vines and trees look superb to me, but what else is new, right?!   :D

Hope to see them available on the LEX soon so they can find their way into the tree controllers.  ;)

Looking good there girafe, I am really looking forward to the ashes.
The colour of the poles that hold up the grapevine look a bit saturated, I would expect them to be more grey as wood that's left outside exposed to the elements often turns grey.

Another terrific achievements by the the floraler !   :o

Outstanding ashes and grape vines, makes me want to recreate some landscapes around my home...   &hlp

Thanks for the comments.

Indeed, the ashes are now on the LEX:

Regarding the vines, don't expect something soon. I am not decided to release this pack even if Badsim, nicely, already mod them for himself.

@ Noah, I exported the birches snow covered. It takes me more time than I thought...

I will cut the last cars models shown few posts before as the Carpack vol. 3 is coming.
I have to fix a mysterious pb but I hope to release it for next week  &Thk/(

Thanks a lot to Badsim for the long and fastidious modding and resizing and Yann for the amazing pic  &apls

I am currently re working on the modding of VIP carpack 1 & 2 as the nomenclature is outdated...

Yann I will need you    :P

Thanks for sharing those trees! And good luck fixing whatever problem you have with the cars! They all look brilliant!
Angels can fly because they don't take themselves too serious!

@weixc812 Sorry for late answer. Merry Xmas to you and thanks for this beautiful pic :)

I hope that everybody had a good Xmas with his family and got cool presents  &blush

My motivation for batting is decreasing what explains the few comments here  %wrd

I decided to put Carpe Diem on hold at this stage, lot of work is still needed...

I even though opened 3ds these last days to work a little bit on flora. I started linden trees. The beginning of new trees is always very long and complex. I tested new color shades for the leaves...

Something I worked few weeks ago:

Hope Cédric will come back soon, I miss him and I need him...

Hey Antoine. I've been extensively using the ash trees, and what I like so much about them is how they show a lot of the trunks. So you can create a real "forest" atmosphere. They line the road and you can almost walk in. The other trees show more of the foliage which makes them better in standalone scenes. Another reason is they remain fairly confined to the original placement point. The oaks are notoriously sprawling in that regard.

So I'm hoping you would one day make a tree plop that remains fairly compact, better suited to place within a dense forest instead of on its own in a meadow. Not sure if that's relevant to what you're doing now - hard to judge how these lindens would behave. But they're some suggestions you could think about.

Cheers

Every day is a good day when there is news from the girafe

I hope your Christmas was great as well and Happy New Years! The lindens are already looking spectacular. Carpe Diem is looking excellent and I hope that project continues sometime soon. Intriguing new project  &apls

I hope you don't lose too much motivation. The work you've done, particularly with flora, has changed the look of SimCity over the last years more than anything else besides the NAM. Thanks for all the presents you've given

Such incredible skill and art on display here, Antoine.  The trees, as always, capture my attention and draw me in as nothing else in the game can.  What you do with the natural world expands and deepens SC4 in a way that no single building can.  While your BATting is wonderful, if I had to make a choice for the very last thing I could every put in my SC4 folder, I would choose the linden trees without a second thought.  They are beautiful, and wholly part of the everlasting legacy you have left this game.
