Work is progressing slowly on ST. A huge thanks to Robin for baking customed road textures. The LOT will be TE and pathed for automatas  ::)

If someone has good pictures or a link of the park, I would like to start working with the flora and the props of the base. Tower will follow later  &Thk/(

It s long time ago I wanted to do willow trees but never found good models, I think I have now something correct  ::)

C'est magnifique!  &apls

Really good to see the road textures with the model together for the first time. This is coming along very nicely.

And I like the willow trees very much. those will be great beside water courses.

Alan_Waters

Great!
Very tall buildings in their cities, I do not like to build, but the willow admire its naturalness. My rivers are waiting for these trees.  :bnn:

c.p.

The trees are spectacular. :bnn:

So is the tower.  The glass surface is perfection.

romualdillo

The trees look fantastic!! And the tower... well, what can I say... I already considered you a master, and you prove it again and again with every update.  &apls

seraf

Very good work. The tower is expertly modeled, though not really my cup of tea  ;D But the trees... oh my, what a beauties <3

manga rivotra

This tower is perfect and these trees.............i have a sudden urge to put them near all my ponds !
This is incredibly realistic ! , thanks you so much &apls &apls &apls

Great work on the tower and I can't wait for those willow trees  &apls

Thanks a lot for your lovely comments.

After exporting the willows, the result in game was not as good as the previews  :( I was quite disappointed. I am not sure if I will pursue with this species at the moment.

However, I am more satisfied with elms that I tried today. I still don t know if I should increase a little bit the size of the leaves as well as the glossiness and reflexivity of the leave material.
I was thinking to go with single tree by plop but I know it s quite difficult to plant full forest (especially as infinite MMP cycle modding is not "yet" possible  &mmm). I would like to get your opinion on that.

By the way the trees are mixing well with oaks and beeches which is quite difficult  ::)
Speaking about oaks, if I am right it s one of the last pack which does not include props. I have to correct this  &Thk/(

I prefer single tree plopping as it's easier to control positioning in an urban environment. That's just a personal thing for me though...

Shame about the willows, hopefully you can resolve that as they'd be great to have as MMP

The elms look good though

Oh, no willows.   :( Those looked splendid in the preview. Well, anyway the Elms look beautiful too.

I use your trees as in HD those look really good. Off course the large filesize is a prize I have to pay. The bushes and the hedges are my favourites.

Swordmaster

The elms look great, though I feel a bit more contrast would be welcome (maybe this is because of image compression). I'm currently in favor of single plop flora, since the majority of your existing plops already come in groups. (I think only the chestnuts and rowans come in single-plops?) Elms are really an urban species, so one tree per plop would fit well.

Do show those willows, though. They'd be a great addition and I'd love to see how the export shows. Can't be that terrible, can it?

About LE prop packs: what about larches & maples v2? Maybe I'm just missing them.

Cheers
Willy

Girafe

Thanks dears,

I will go for single tree per plop.

I increased the size of the leaves which gives a little bit more contrast and density.

Larches don t have props as I need around 18hours to render 1 tree. I had time courage before, not the case anymore.
Maples v2, definitively, I need to work on that. Moreover I would like to delete the v1 and keep v2. I need to think how to do it properly.

Honestly Girafe, on your worst days your flora still looks excellent to my eyes :). It may be possible to add some contrast to the rendered textures, since the rendering is such heavy work, you could create a single overlay with an adjustment layer and apply it to all the textures you wanted to modify. It wouldn't take 5m to do if you wanted to see how that works out?

Single props is good, since that's another set I can use more flexibility with the T21's I'm making :D.

If the modelling side of things is time consuming, I'd be happy to take the models and create MMPs/Prop packs in accordance with your other packs for you? Similarly, I've recently turned your Oaks and Bushes into props, so I could pass those along if you felt inclined to release them?

Thanks Robin for your proposals. I will let you know as soon as I need your help :)
And I am glad to bring you other models for your T21 project

Today I worked the autumn liveries, I hate to do these shades, they are so difficult and takes lot of time

BTW, I still have an hesitation about the glossiness of evergreen versions  &Thk/(

I think I see what you mean with the willows, I think the branches have lost too much detail to stand out as branches (or something like that). Even so they still look pretty good to me. Though in my mind willows have a lighter color/a different tone of green. I think that might also benefit how the models look.

The elms look slightly better. Have you increased the leaf size? Maybe they can get a little bigger. Not sure about the glossiness, I don't know enough about modeling for that.

Thanks for the elms!  &apls ()stsfd()

And I hope you will continue the willows, too, they already look great to me!

Thanks Erik.

I forgot how tiresome and not funny was to do broadleaf trees. It will surely be my last package. I have only little free time and I am not enjoying this kind of modeling / modding anymore  &Thk/(

Great to see the elms now available.

I appreciate how tiring it can be to create these but I'm personally very thankful for the wonderful trees you have created and made available to us, it makes such a massive difference in-game and it's great to see lotters using them in new uploads and for projects like MGB's T21 mod :)
