Thanks for all the comments! I'm glad you like my attempt of making a cathedral  :)

Slowly but surely the main part of the cathedral is taking shape:

Next step: the small chapels behind the altar. I already started with the walls. Now I've to find a way to make a good looking roof over there.  ::)

 :'( (tears of joy).

This is an amazing piece of art. There will be a lot of overtime for the workers at Ledpro (I assume they'll provide the nightlights  ;)).

Keep up the good work.

Shaun, nah it's just a untextured plane. I still have to make the 'Shaun is our God' textures :D But sure that Ella's influence will be visible in the cathedral ;)

I think so, BATing takes quite some time (at least if you want to do it properly)

if you want to be sure, you should ask Merijn (Tag_one)

Do you know what the word "wait" means ? I think no...
If yes, wait.. People have others things to do in real life, that takes more time and that are better than modeling a cathedral in 3dsMax.  ;)

Don't worry Gianthaiku, it's still alive. Unfortunately I was quite busy the last months. Normally I don't work on large projects when I've only a couple of hours spare time a week. Now that I've a couple of days of I can spend some more time on this one. But don't expect it to be finished anytime soon. nevertheless, your wait will be rewarded :)

Thanks Guillaume :)

It took me quite some time to get a nice result for the roofs of the chapels. But I kind of like the result:

Next thing to do, the towers...
