Thanks for the comments, guys!

Arne - Photoshop. :) I have a lot of " templates " of trains to use for my updates. Basically, the train put together ( end engine, etc) both day and night in  a transparent background png. (most of the time maximum zoom )

Willy -  ;) ;) ;)

Today we're going to take a look at the second city of the region, Asahigaoka 旭ヶ丘.

Hope you liked this update! :)

Lovely update  &apls  Of course they're all good when your building are in them ;) I would say that the maxis night bats stand out a bit at night though.

gn_leugim

I believe there are some darknight / maxis light issues there eheh

otherwiuse, great update!

Shark7

I agree with other posters, those are some very nice night scenes.  Well done.  &apls

Looks great! where did you get the house area with the cables?

cubby420

Stunning mosaic!  &apls &apls

Your region is clearly going in a specific direction judging by the map you've got going. I'm dying to see where you take us next!

Thank you guys for the comments.

976 - I assume you're talking about These Houses?

Not really an update today, more like a status information.

Below you will find a region view of my current region. I scrapped the previous one, again. I seem to be never satisfied with the general aspect of my regions. Well at least I haven't find yet the perfect region.

Currently I have little to zero development done in the region, apart from the main infrastructures such as seaports, airport, rails and highways.

I will not be able to offer new pictures soon. One of the mod I used a lot, the overpass restyling by neko is not yet updated to the latest NAM version and doesn't work at all. It is to me a vital mod for my cities and I believe my pictures will not be "perfect" without it.

I still have to create the station buildings for my central station before showing pictures of the area.

The region is 4*8 big city tiles.

I don't know when I'll be able to post proper pictures again, maybe soon, maybe later.

Looking forward to it Arthur!

Great job Arthur !! BTW I have to say that I can understand for what reason you've chosen that map, (the bay, the underwater tunnel, the volcano, artificial islands...) but I'm sure that you are aware that the japanese cities always has an imperfect shore line, because japan is a very mountainous country and you region looks a bit quadrate. I think your bahia / port is right, but maybe you can add some mountains in the surrounding and expanding the shoreline !!

Saludos amigo

P.S: I'll send you a PM right now, I need to ask something.

I like those night pictures very much.

As ALWAYS! Great city scapes. Just love them.

Wow, Arthur. How many regions did you have? I think, I'll not able to change them so often - loosing everythning and each time starting with empty terrain would destroy my motivation to play this game. You are the very strong player! ;)

I have feeling, that your current region looks a bit odd. Almost flat terrain, furrowed with rivers and canals, with one great volcano. So artificial. I agree that some other mountains or even hills could be a good idea :)

Happy New Year! ;)

Thank you for visiting Kolbrów, and for being for last ten years!

metarvo

A new year's coming, complete with a new region from Arthur.  Anyone who can create the spectacular night views found in the previous mosaic will have no trouble designing a new city.
