rooker1 - Thank you Robin! I'm trying to do my best, hoping you'll enjoy today's update too!

Awesome update....what made you think that you need to "try" to do your best when updating.  Your work has always been outstanding!!

It's just AMAZING &apls!! We really the NY's atmosphere. It has been a long time we haven't seen a realistic recreation of NY. I love the way tou make the city, smaller but busy and it's funny to see that both rivers are upside down. I am looking forward to seeing the next update

kelis

Great job my friend, I like so much this historical New York City, Keep up the good work  &apls &apls

ecoba - Welcome back here, Ethan! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Please, stop by again when you can :)
rooker1 - Thank you so much, Robin! This means a lot to me!
Jack Bauer - Thanks! Yes indeed, my NYC version is smaller (I can't imagine having to fill a realistic-sized map of NYC) and I tried to build what's possible to recreate. And yes, the whole city is mirrored due to it's location in my region. Maybe I'll have to show a region view too ::)

Update 71 part 1 - Night over the city | OSITM update 2

To keep you interested, I prepared a new (short) update ;D I think it would be better to post smaller new updates but more often than before :)
Late 50s - another iconic NYC skyscraper has been recently built (on Park Avenue) - the Seagram Building. Here's a view of it in the late afternoon, during sunset

And here it is again during the night. At the left is the Chrysler Building, the Rockefeller Plaza is behind it and the Lever House is at the right.
71.2

The top of the ESB which is brightly illuminated at night. I photoshopped the pic to create a depth of field effect, I love the bokeh in it ;D
71.3

Click here to see the original pic :)

And last but not least, a mosaic
71.4, click for full size once again

I hope you've enjoyed it :)

Once again, it's perfect. Downtown is so well-done and so realistic. I know how hard it is hard to recreate downtown, especially the rivers and the banks. You made it.

WC_EEND

I can only agree with what Jack Bauer said &apls &apls Those night pictures turned out quite simply brilliant.
