Update 68 - NYC in 1932

It's been 3 years since the Great depression but the development of the city still hasn't stopped. Many new and high skyscrapers were built during that time. To start off, here's a view of Downtown Manhattan. New additions to the skyline include (from left to right) the City Bank-Farmers Trust Building (1931), 40 Wall st (1929) and the Cities Service Building (1932)

Let's move on to Midtown. A lot of new skyscrapers have been constructed here, too.

The Empire State building, one of the NYC icons, is the tallest building in the city since it's completion in 1931. At the background is the Rockefeller center.
69.8

The top of the Rockefeller center.
69.9

The Chrysler building, another famous city landmark, was built in 1929 and was tallest building in the world until the ESB was completed.
69.10

The Waldorf=Astoria hotel (left) and the RCA Victor Building (right), both built in 1931.
