Stunning plaza you've got there, really beautiful work!  &apls &apls

Great work! That plaza is very nice, and the underground mall is perfect - not too many lots too close together, as is appropriate. I take it your CTD issues are fixed?

Feel brand new. Be inspired.

Battlecat: Thank you! Yes indeed it is. I am glad I got that idea.

Earth quake: Thanks! I hope you will like the rest of portland as well.

Driftmaster07: Thanks! Cheers!  :P

BarbarossaS: Thank you! I am happy you like it.

Tomas Neto: Thanks!

Woodb3kmaster: Thank you! Ya, it's basicly fixed. Never had it anymore, but when I start up Canete, the city I showed at the first few updates. Might go and rebuild it. Although I know the problem.. just no way to fix it, as it crashed all the time :P

976: Thank you

Well, I managed to get a few snap shots on what i've been up to the past few days. But unfortanally I got a flu. So I'm not able to do a lot. I have, however, done some work in the LE.
So that's what I will show you this time. I hope you like it.

I hav already added in some crowd walking around, btw. :)
Jup.. you know me.. im the plaza freak  ::) oh.. and are the leaves to much? I have added more as 1 prop for the street leaves, but im not completly sure about it.

If you've any suggetions, please let me know! This also means for new propsets, as I've only used Porkie's one at this time. I think that will be a bit to much of the same, perhaps.

Anyway, as soon im able to do some work again, I will show you all the city of portland! And believe me.. it's a nice one.

Cheers! ;)

edit; oh, 16 more post till I reach the 100! Awesome! :P

Battlecat

I'm not entirely sold on the leaves there, they look good, but they'd be even better if they were a seasonal feature that only showed up in the fall.  Granted, I'll admit I wouldn't even know where to start setting that kind of modification up.

On the other hand, those leaves do a nice job of breaking up the pattern through, so it might work.  You might have to show it off in game context just to be sure!

Hope you feel better soon!

They are actually. I use them a lot so well yeah. But problem is, the trees actually appear after one game season and if you dont have all three than only one would appear a year (or two).

My new MD. Check it out if you wish.

Adrian, I miss you man.

Battlecat: Thanks! I already feel a bit better now! The leaves are, in fact, seasonal. I will show you in this update, with in game pictures of it.

Driftmaster07: Yes, the trees indeed appear after one game season. In fact, that happens with every seasonal item there is. I, however, don't find that such a problem. Having seasonal trees gives your city a bit more live.

So.. I decided to focus on 1 project for the next few updates.
I welcome you all to Sea Side Boulevard!

I just placed the lots, as you can see, the seasonal trees did not appear yet.

Now fall starts, and the trees and leaves appear.

Winter. Not entirly sure about the leaves now.. I think it might be a bit to much for the winter. What do you guys think?

Summer/spring. The boulevard in its beauty.

I decided to make this the main boulevard of the City of Portland. I think I will show you my plans for it later this week.. Still need to do some work in the LE for it.

Cheers!

Great lotting! One suggestion - a few "randomwalk" and "amill" props would make it much more alive ;)

The random walk is added, actually. For some reason, it didn't show up.  ()what()

Thanks for that suggestion though! I've never heard about the ''amill'' prop, so I will check it out soon. Would that be that prop with a group of people just standing around??

Battlecat

I like it!  It's a shame the leaves persist through the winter, but I don't think it's that's big of a deal, the spring and fall shots look great!

1. I think you need to re-plop the lots for it to show up and I'm not really fond of it as it doesn't work very well in my game.

2. Yes, it would. It is at the near-botom of the props menu. ;)

A nice start to your lot. I do have a few suggestions for you, if you don't mind:

I suggest using overlay textures to give your lots more dimension. A pathway with a darker, contrasting color would give your lot some more color. Also, some grass overlays would bring more greenery and life. Lastly, look in the Lot Editor for Simgoober's props. He has made a variety of flower beds and flora props that would really make your lots stand out.

Again these are merely suggestions, but if you want any more help, feel free to send me a PM and I'll be glad to help !

Nice LE work. If you don't mind, do you have plan to upload it? Because I would place it in my city

Glowbal

io_bg I found the amill prop. Thanks for telling me this, since I had been looking for it for ages!

Battlecat: Thank you for your reply!

kelis: Thanks!

Driftmaster07: It doesn't work well in my game either. I think it shows up at an centrain time, in the afternoon in the game, I assume..

Earth quake: Thanks! Glad you like it!

Tomas Neto: Thank you! hope to see you around here!

dsrwhat316: Thank you for the suggestions. We already pmed. :) You've gave me some great tips.

976: Well.. actually yes, I do! Iwill inform you when I upload it. :)

On with the update.. I've slowley some progress the last week. I hope you like it!

I plan to make a few more lots with buildings, just as you see in the pictures. Just an open plaza, without buildings doesn't look that great, does it? ;)

Cheers!

Your plaza's are nice, you might consider breaking up the monotony of the pavement texture with some kind of overlay separating the different block sections.
