I am sooooooooo frustrated with the EA Sim City official site I can hardly see straight. I am trying to get the update that allows the night lighting on custom made buildings and such to work properly. I registered my game with EA years ago and recently started playing the game agian. Wouldn't you know, but I don't have the username and password that I registered with all that time ago and I can't get on the stupid site again. I have reregistered myself with a new user name but I never get the confirmation so it was all for nothing. I asked that all the user names that are attached to my email address be sent and, wouldn't you know none of them are the username and password that I registered with, so of course I don't get to download the update.  &mmm
Can anyone tell me what the easiest way to get the update I need without going through EA. It's not like I want to market the fix or anything. I just want my blasted game to work the way it is supposed to. It just looks nasty with all the dark areas of town becuase the night lighting doesn't work.  :angrymore:

You may want to check the button named "support" with a black and white EA logo behind, found right under the LEX DVD banner in every forums page...  ;)
I am currently not active - Please, contact Tarkus for any site related matter. Thanks for enjoying SC4D :D

You can email EA with your information and problem and they will ask you to supply certain pieces of information and I think a photocopy of certain parts of your CD or manual.. I forget.. this all is pointed out on the EA support site. As one might guess this happens to many people. Once you do that they will give you full access to the site again
