The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

Dear community,

Since my last installation of the program and the installation of numerous mega files I experience the odd situation that the message box is no longer available. This is only the case with some lots from Simgoober and with the schoolpacks of JBSimio. Especially the latter is irritating as I now have those great schools but I cannot manage them.

Please advise.

Those should be in the BSC Essentials file.

Be sure you do have a file called BSC Essentials.dat and be sure to delete a file called BSC_Essentials.dat.

mmmm, that could be it. Those files look a lot like eachother. I will check.
