That's a nice park behind the college there, Guillaume ! I'd like to have somethink like that in my school.. Maybe you should use some diagonals fillers lots next to the street, besause the edge isn't really great to see..  ;D

Wow, the park is huge. It looks very nice. The only detail that bothers me a bit are the jagged edges at the streets. But there are no filler pieces for the asphalt sidewalk as far as I know.

Ohhh, I love Volkens Hot! It looks so beautifully suburban, and the park in the middle is such a nice touch.

Looks quite nice.  I like how the reddish roof colors are so visible among the green trees.

It would be good for me to live there

Wow, a really nice preview, Guillaume. I like the way the suburbs look very natural, and the big park in the middle is really a nice touch. However, I do agree with Arthur in that the jagged edges are really kindof an eyesore. I do like the variety of BATs and Maxis you have, and I think that some of the plazas in the areas further from the main road are really interesting. I think maybe to fix the edges some trees would also work, as the diagonal fillers would not blend well, IMO.

For the edges, I don't know how to do, because I haven't got diagonal fillers for my sidewalk texture, and I don't know how to create it. Can someone help me with this please? :/

Very simple, just take the texture with the lot editor as a base texture, and add an overlay with a diagonal part grass (with the appropriate texture) and the other diagonal part is transparent, so that you can see the sidewalk texture. So, just open a blank park tile (the default 1x1 ), modify the base texture (create the texture if you don't have it), and add the overlay, and save as. ;)

About the update, I really loved the park ! Maybe you should add some more trees to make it more alive, and what about a small lake ? Also, the city center with the central station is really nice. I love the W2W areas, they fits very well with the Amsterdam central station. I see you get inspired my Metz train station with the watertower, right ?  :) But one last thing, I think along the sidewalk you should add some more soundwalls, because I'm not sure about the small park fences, not very good for the noise but also for the security. (and also, where the kids will be able to make the tags (graffiti) ?  :D

Arthur.

Gerat pictures Guillaume, I especially like the one with the Amsterdam CS, although you could (as Arthur suggested) put some more trees (and add some people props). Because that's one of the few things the picture lacks in my opinion.

Take care

Xander

Great work!  I like the railway work in your latest update!  Nice job on the parks as well!

Nardo69

Nice update. I like the sidings at the Amsterdam station though the station itself seems to be a bit oversized given that it is one of the VERY few big through stations (unlike big terminus stations there's quite a lack of nice big through stations IMHO) ...

And that path meandering through the park is nothing bur a pure invitation for a nice walk on a warm spring day's afternoon!

I just don't like that level crossing next to sidings after the smooth curve  ()sad()

Great update, as ever!
I like the rail station and railyard. With w2w's and small squares nearby, it creates excellent and interesting place, nice to watching. Looks like a part of something bigger, wich also makes spectator interested, what is next and how is it connected :)
But I'm really loved in this picture: looks like a small quiet village, somewhere far, without noise of hundreds of cars, where live ends at 19:00   ;D
Keep it going!
