Superb. We all drive by the occasional warehouse district. No matter what country you live in a district such as this is sure to be present.

Lots of Parkings and cars there Manuel. I like how the wall mart and others commercial buildings meets the industrial warehouses, it's a nice mix very pleasant to the eyes.

Take care,
-Arthur.

Thank you guys all very much for the comments!

cubby420: Thanks! You're right, and since new BATs came up in Simcity these areas are looking better and better. Remember if you would try to build similar areas with Maxis buildings... :D ;D Oh interesting, so you are studying economy?

Sciurus: Thank you.  :) You will need LBT prop Pack 1-3. I actually found them on the STEX, but right now I can't find them the new STEX search is pretty bad, when it comes to searching an exact file... :(

In the next half year there will be a bit less updates as usual, because I'm in the Swiss army 'till August. I hope I will be able to give you some updates at the weekends. ;)

Yeah some large, cartoonish Maxis industrial boxes would look...odd to say the least. The new (relative considering this game is how old now?) content available has fixed that flaw though.

Re: "so you are studying economy?"

Kind of. My concentration is finance, but I'm interested in the operations side of a business as well. I'm taking a pretty intense operations management course where we are examining in depth the supply chains and fulfillment processes of several specific companies relative to study of various industry wide supply chain practices and trends.

Wal-mart pretty much revolutionized the way large retailers do business, and much of that is owed to the processes created for their distribution centers...which were very new for the time and still operate more efficiently than anyone else around today. ...On my side of the pond at least. Not quite sure of Wal-marts status in most European countries though, as more protective legal standards visa vi labor and supply partners make the Wal-mart business model less aggressive and ultimately less successful overseas.

Ah, nothing like a solid off-topic meandering to break up the day...

Can't wait for the next update! Might have to wait a while though, with you being the bad-ass army man that you are. Good luck with everything and stay safe!

Hey guys, it's been a while since my last update, but luckily my army-time is over now, and I should have more time to play again, and hopefully show you some new pictures soon.  :)

For today I have some "old" pictures for you. Elindale was also located in the Arlington Bay area, but because it was a small map I had to delete the city, because it didn't fit in the region. Some pictures I made of Elindale are still great though, so I decided to share them with you. Elindale is a little town located between hills and creeks, has about 3000 inhabitants which live mostly of their agriculture.

Old pictures but very nice pictures !

cubby420

Excellent! Great to see you back. How did your service time go?

Great pics, old or new. Definitely gave me a little inspiration. These really showcase your eye for rural areas.

Battlecat

Very nice shots!  I particularly like the scene with horse farm with the white picket fence.

citybuilderx

Great! I can't believe your scenes are so realistic!
Aim for the stars and you might make the moon,
aim for the moon and you might not get there.

Too bad you had to delete the town because it looks really good.

Take care - and of course: Welcome back!

For today we move to New Memphis again, a huge city. I'm still working on the surroundigs, but downtown is nearly finished, so I'm gonna show you some pictures between harbor and Downtown.
You maybe remember some parts already from the seaport-update.

Fantastic update! I've been itching for you to bring us back to the big city and you did not disappoint. Very realistic placement of the stadium. All the little things that you do so well.

I so love that MD ManuelR! Something with the choice of lots you use, the way you set everything up, realisticaly enough to look familiar, and yet making the whole thing look very smooth and neat. And I also beleive the lighting of your screenshots adds a lot to it.
