G'Day Devotees,

Thanks Jordan, I think there is something special about the notion of walking in the maps of SC4.

Things old mate, it's good to see you back from your hiatus. And you have also been busy recording music and making great things with the bat.

Another request map for todays show from my little mate Aldini.

Las Vegas is 57.344km x 57.344km

The Casino Capital of the world. Thanks Aldini for your request.

That all for today folks. Thanks for looking and have a great day.

G'Day Devotees,

Aldini, I reckon you are right in stating she's the Entertainment Capital of the World. How many decades has Wayne Newton been playing there?
Also Aldini thankyou for all your support and great comments and compliments. This was the least I could do. &apls &apls

This next map was not so much a request but more an offhanded remark, It would be great to see my home town. So without further ado.

Alexandria is 36.864km x 36.864km

While considerably inland and a bit flat Alexandria has a great river system, numerous creeks, ditches, lakes and dams to keep ones water loving sims happy.
Thanks Sarge.

Unfortunately that's it for today, but remember same bat time, same bat channel.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

G'Day Devotees,

I reckon Maestro quite a bit of fun could be had in Vegas.

G'Day Devotees,

Well news of the Map-O-Matic has been running hot and she's been down in the map factory doing double shifts. So sifting through my box of trinkets I came upon these gems and they are available on a lex near you.

Situated on the shores of Princess Royal Harbour and King George Sound

Albany is 32.768km x 32.768km

Albany is the oldest town on the west coast.

A good place to get that snapping handbag.

A couple of outback icons.

Ayers Rock and Mt Olga is 34.816km x 12.288km

One will have to get here soon as climbing this monster will soon be prohibited.

Got the same snappy handbags here.

Bynoe Harbour is 40.96km x 45.056km

A playground close to Darwin.

A map requested by Jmdude1, Thanks mate.

Thanks for the excellent maps!

I am working on a new terrain mod (which can be linked to in my sig).  I invite you (and anyone else) to join the conversation.  I am particularly interested in your thoughts as a mapmaker.  What is the maximum altitude that your maps have?

Thanks again.

jmdude1

amazing busan map! thanks so much for this. now its time to get vista 64 and the mapper to be friends. thanks again.

Aldini10

I guess Wayne Newton has been living here for about 40 years I think. ;D

Unfortunately, I will not be able to play on your maps anytime soon, my computer has become a rather unstable machine with a virus here and there... Oh, well once that problem's fixed I will be playing on your maps in no time.

Thanks for the Alexandria map, it's real pretty. I've been waiting for one of those maps for as long as I have been playing SC4, so thanks!

Une_ame

Thank you for your very good maps !!!

I was wondering if your able to "turn" a map by, let say, something like a + 20 deg. angle ?  ()what()

That's because of a very special map, Paris one, that do not allowed (because of it's stict North/South orientation) a proper placement for the Triumphal Way (main parisian axe), the Eiffel Tower or Notre-Dame.

See below...

babuloziwad / adj Above perfection in SC4; Dude, this MOD is ~ !

G'Day Devotees,

Great some replies again, it's good to have a bit of interactivity.

Thanks Lowkee 33, I had a quick snoop at your stuff but not much time, now that I'm home again I shall have a good look at what you are doing. Thanks for the invite.

JM, thanks. You're more than welcome. How did you go with mapper and terraformer?

Aldini, Little mate thanks a lot. Let's hope you can rid your puter of those nasties and you can get back to enjoying the game and what these sites have to offer.

Une_ame, Thanks and thanks for your request. An aligned Paris will be no problem and I shall be finished it shortly.

Hey another show.

Todays map show is another request by Etorsen. Thanks mate you pick out very beautiful spots and I hope you enjoy this one too.

Port Angeles is 53.248km x 45.056km

Did anyone else have difficulty accessing this site over the past couple of days? Whenever I typed in the URL, it led to a link farm. :/

Anyways, Port Angeles looks like a beaut!
I'll have to give myself a prrrrrrrromotion!

marsh

Drunkapple (I like calling you that more)

I don't know why it always ends up like this but your maps are the ones I use for all my regions. Probably cause of there feeling of freedom because of how big they are.

Currently working on your Sault Ste. Marie one.

G'Day Devotees,

First up more replies, the fun never stops.

G'day Maestro, I thought perhaps your hardy mountain sims could do with some new views. Thanks.

Marsh, that is unbelievably superb. I did see it at csgdesigns last night when I got home from work, but thankyou for posting it here also. it is just splendid.

And on to todays show.

Another request map is up for grabs , this time from DimmerSuns.

Sunshine Coast is 53.248km x 49.152km

More good times to be had for ones hardy sims in the Northeast Pacific

The time has come, the song is done and once again the show is over.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

While we're showing off what we've made with drunk's regions, here's the first South Georgia map that I've been working on...

Yes, those are unnatural antarctic farms in Værdenskåp.
There's some weird glitch where large chunks of vegetation don't show up on the region view. This is particularly noticeable in Urtuk, Værdenskåp, and Þrasgarð.

And I suppose I just revealed my first name.
I'll have to give myself a prrrrrrrromotion!

G'day Devotees,

Maestro, Brilliant how to get a 1/4 million hardy little sims happily co-existing and flourishing in such inhospitable conditions is simply outstanding. Thanks for letting us see it, it really is terrific. Thankyou.

I shall continue to call you Maestro

This next map I was previously and erroneously credited with making, so I decided to pop the map-o-matic and see what she could do. And well she's done me proud again.

Tofino is 53.248km x 49.152km

On the Pacific rim of Vancouver Island, Canada.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Very nice map Drunkdobs, it seems that map will be hard to build on. But in this game anything is possible! I am jealous of everyone's regions here, all have done a great job. As for me, I can't even build a region of at least 10,000, but I wish everyone luck on their great regions. Keep it up! &apls

dobdriver

G'Day Devotees,

Thanks little mate for your words of encouragement to city builders everywhere, Maestro's region certainly does show what can be achieved on a not so easy map and some encouragement for you, keep playing and try out different ideas. If something doesn't work, ditch it and attack the problem from a different angle. do not be afraid to do something new. This is how I've gone about map making. I currently use around 5 or 6 different techniques depending on what works the best. Thanks Aldini and keep at it.  &apls &apls

And a Show for today.

Old mate Things is mentioned he was looking for god's complaints department and I looked across at the map-o-matic, the old girl whirled into life and I think we might have found it.

God's Pocket is 40.96km x 40.96km

God's Pocket where god keeps all his complaints. Thanks Things I hope this helps you out.

Next up is a map requested by Une_ame, Thanks.

Paris is 36.864km x 32.768km

Ahh, Paris the City of Love.

This map has been lowered 20m and rotated 26º counter-clockwise to align Avenue des Champs-Élysées east-west. I have an un-aligned larger version that will go on the stex.

The last map is another updated older 8bit map.

Rockhampton is 36.864km x 32.768km

Situated on the Fitzroy River, Rockhamton lies on the Tropic of Capricorn, Queensland.

Another show is over for the day.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.
