oldrogue:  Lot making can be fun! ;D  Unfortunately, my skills in that area are somewhat limited to industrials, so I never release any of the others.  It'd be too embarrassing. :D

OK, so I quickly made a prop lot and put it in-game for a pic.  These are some older warehouses that I'd done.  These are the one's I was going to use for a container port, but never did.  There's another set that are the same except for not having doors on the sides.  They're pretty basic, but these types of buildings usually are.

All I have to say is:  Good job! &apls

Jess,

I really like these warehouses, I've always thought they were missing from the game. Some odd-sized megalots of these would be great to fit along the tracks or along a waterfront.

Cheers,
Kevin

OK, I've packaged these in an installer and uploaded it to the LEX.  There's a total of 86 props in the pack.  Cheers!

Yoman

Those metal sheds are so useful, you often find them on docks and such. Really some more awesome work here!

jestarr

BigSlark:  That was my original idea, when I made them.  Unfortunately, I got sidetracked and forgot about them.

Yoman:  Thanks, I'm glad you can use them.

I found I had a little time, so I gathered up a few more models and rendered them.  Below is an in-game pic.  There's a few more billboards, some containers, and a park thingie;  35 in all.  These are on the LEX, by the way. ;D

More nice props!  Aweome job on them.  Pretty soon, we'll all have a bevy of containers to use for custom port and industrial lots.  ;D

^^ What you say Kyle. I'll already got my hands on these props. Especially the containers are perfect

Just as I think I  am making some progress on my seaport LOTs someone comes up with better props.

nice warehouse, we definetely need as much modern industry as we can get.

if you don't mind me asking, was there a problem with those apartment complexes from way back (or was that JB's?).

When I saw those warehouses it reminded me of these in Holland.

Ooohh...now I like those!  Seems it's time for the BAT again. :D

Zaphod:  Must have been someone else, as all my residential stuff is on the LEX.

On another note, it was brought to my attention that one of the textures in my Vol04 texture pack had a bad IID.  This has been fixed and has been updated on the LEX.  If you run the installer, and haven't changed the default install path, the old file will be overwritten and everything necessary will be updated.  Cheers!

Here's an in-game test pic of my version of the warehouse above.  The skylight texture will change, as I don't like it, and the roofand walls need to be a little dirtier, but you can get an idea of how it'll look.

I like it a lot! I really need to start playing with LE so I get some good growable warehouses.

Cheers,

Now that warehouse is looking excellent! But then again, all your stuff does..  ::) The reason why it looks especially good this time is that I was just looking for nice warehouses.

Anyhow, let me assure you that I have been a big fan of your work for a long time and I feel quite ashamed to say this in my first post in your thread, but I have a request: Could you render and release some of your railroad cars on a 11,25 (-ish) degrees angle? I've already put your diagonal railroad props to extensive use in my lots, but having the aforementioned props would make the transition from orthogonal to diagonal even smoother.

Very nice work Jess. My only suggestion is to reduce the amount of fans on the roof, there are now a bit too much of them. If this was a real life building I wouldn't want to be in there when all the fans are working on their max  :D

jestarr

MIncrobabl:  Sure, I can do that.  It may take a bit to render them all though, as they would need a left and right version to be usable.

MIncroabl

Splendid! Take your time, I know how time consuming it can be.
