Wow, nice work. I like the details that you put in your lots shuch as the small coke machine and the tables in the fron terrace of the medium wealth apartments.

I like the model for Shchwartz Chemical.

The textures, however, for some reason, look too 'clean' to me. I don't know if it's just me, but I can't remember the last time I saw a clean factory.

That's the only criticism I have though - and the chimneys look fine - I assume they're meant to look like sandstone? because that's how they look to my eye.

I like the apartment conversion - for some reason I think it'd look excellent near a university. I also like the awnings, they're a unique addition to the lot, and are making my Plugin Manager finger itch (they actually look a lot like a bus stop shelter).

OK, here's a couple in-game pics of something I've been working on.  I really like using canals, and since cotton is a big deal here, I felt I needed a lot to feature this, so I made this.  By the way the building model is taken from the real warehouses.  The only difference is that they're on the river, instead of canals.  There's a little tweaking left to do, then they're off to testing. ;D  Cheers!

This building looks awesome, especially the headlights. Great work with the texture gradients and the cotton barge! The only thing that's missing on this lot are some more workers, and maybe a crane that's situated on the ground and not on the barge. But even without those details, this is already an outstanding work, definately a must-download for industrial canal-builders.

Keep going!

Citynut

Hey Jestarr we need to team up and come up with something awesome for the canals - great stuff here - and you know how I am about the canals I'll do anything to make some other use of them  :D &apls

Please tell me there will be a version of this without the canals as well. It would work so well in my seaport industrial district.

Hey Jestarr. I quite like this. The long skylights on the pitched roof work well. Any thought to making a non-canal version to go with it?

Yoman

I feel that there is a need for large warehouses, and between you and Frankie I'll have plenty!

HabLeUrG

absolute im wating for these, could you make a version without the canals?  ;D

jestarr

Actually, there's three lots.  A 9x7 non-canal plop. a 9x9 canal plop, and a 9x7 I-D3 growable. $%Grinno$%

Scott:  Have anything particular in mind?

Thank goodness someone (especially you) has addressed cotten. Virginia was a cotten state and now the Southside farmers are back into it in a big way. Really looking forward to this one.  &apls

Wonderful building and great work!

Magnific stuff as usual, I love your lots and use them quite often. Can't wait to have this one as well. &apls

Since the Warehouse lot went to testing, I started reading up on the bridge tutorial.  A long time ago, I started working on a bridge model, but didn't know how to get it in the game, so it ended up in the dustbin.  I've now resurrected it and I'll see if I can get it into the game. :D  Here's a test render pic of what it will (roughly) look like.  I've already changed some things on the model, so it's not exactly the same, but you can get the general idea of where I'm trying to go.  Cheers!

bat

nice start on this bridge! Looking forward to the end version!

jestarr

Thanks bat.  Glad you like it.  OK, the cotton warehouse lots have been uploaded to the LEX.  There's four lots in the installer; one 9x7 I-D3 growable, a 9x7 regular plop, a 9x9 plop for Simgoober's canals, with a static barge, and a 9x9 timed plop for Simgoober's canals (the barge appears/disappears).

Also, here's a couple in-game pics of my latest effort.  It's a small 2x1 factory, currently in testing. :D  There'll be three lots with this; an I-D1 growable Mech lot, an I-M1 regular growable, and a plop.  All are BTE enabled for industrial and timber related reward chains.  Cheers!

Frankie

I love the cotton warehouses! Very nice, Keep up the great work Jestarr!
