Diagonal Filler Lots not worling (?)

Hello everybody, I'm using the SFBT Diagonal Filler Lots but discovered some strange behavior: As you can see in the pictures, they simply won't "fill" the diagonal edges, at least not in the way I supposed they would do. You can see the basic situation in picture 1:

Applying the diagonal filler lots with the orange line towards the road

gives this result:

If I turn the lot by 180 degrees, that is the orange line facing away of the street, I get this result:

What I expected would be that the grey pavement tiles line up with the street's tiles so you get kind of a wider boardwalk, and the green blending in with the grass behind the lot. Like in the last picture, but with the green triangles adjacent to the road also beeing grey tiles.

Is there any known problem with that lot?
If it's a good idea, go ahead and do it. It's much easier to apologize than it is to get permission.

The green grass is the wealth texture associated with these lots.  Unfortunately, this is a side effect of using these or many other parks, including Maxis ones, to border roads and streets, but this effect can be minimized somewhat along avenues as long as the majority of lots along the avenue have the sidewalk as a wealth texture (e.g., medium or high density RES or COM).  I hope this helps.  :)

Yeah, what metarvo said - it's not a problem with the diagonal filler lots, but with the textures below the roads, since they change according to the adjacent zones (or plopped lots). In some configurations, you can solve this by using the NAM pedmall puzzle pieces, but of course, there are no pedmalls with such diagonal textures available. I guess the best solution here is skipping the idea of having a wide sidewalk, and use the full grass lots with trees that come with the diagonal fillers as well.
