Now if we could just talk someone into making a 'really' rural version of the rural SAM streets that replaced all low wealth textures with the nice pristine undeveloped street textures, we could avoid those nasty brutish texture lines near the fences.  Wouldn't be very hard, just have to go through the texture sets in question and delete the low wealth textures, copy the zero wealth textures and add the 1 to the copies IID's.  I'd do it myself if I had the time ::).

Oh yea, almost forgot, great picture David

I know what you mean. I'd do it if I had the know-how. In the meantime, I just plop matching grass everywhere to avoid any texture changes. Bit of a pain, but I think it's worth it.

David: that pic is great! A cow that knows how to open a gate? Sounds like a Gary Larson cartoon to me. :D

Nothing fancy or new, just different.  These have kind of been feeling left out since TPW came along.

Alfred.Jones

Feeling left out? :D They are getting plenty of use in my cities don't you worry! :P

Hello szarkoz

Great shots! I like them a lot. My rural cities do not not look as good as yours. I'm going to have to kick my play skills up a notch.

Great pics Szarkoz,  great use of flora(hadn't seen JRJ bamboo in a while), particularly how you used flora with the terrain textures.  The fences are also well set up.  Great job

Alfred.Jones

Very nice use of the ploppable livestock  I've been trying to get some of my own rural areas going but they haven't been too successful yet $%Grinno$%

Unfortanetly its like this, rural areas first, before developement, no schools. After you develop residents, they demand schools, but more people who recieve education are less likely to work in the fields. So that puts farmers at a disadvantage.
Well, I seem to have more than cows jumping in front of cars on the road problem, more like cows protesting at McDonald's. You can't really see the old cattle ranch next door. I figured to take advantage of Chris Adams other trail creation, rather than the lone tire tracks. So, has anyone thought of putting these trails next to their road systems? It looks great in the open space. The gravel ro dirt trails right next to RHW especially.

Nice work there on your rural areas, @ all! Wonderful pictures!
