@Micheal: So grandiose! I love all the trees surrounding the ritzy golf course and estates. The avenue and elevated running parallel is very neat. ;D

Here's a rural/nature shot from me:

...this space to be filled soon...

Lmac

wow.
that castle is SPECTACULAR!!

here's a few from me, all the same quad

oops, should have turned the grid off on that one. if you've ever watched le tour de france, you'll have seen similar things arranged by farmers along the road where the cyclists ride.

Albus of Garaway

Nice pictures, Lmac. Very creative!

Bonney Village
A small hamlet located steps from Bonney Lake. Founded in 1895, most of the village's first residents worked on continuing the rail lines northward to Canada. Unfortunately, once that new rails were completed, many became unemployed. To this day, the area is still has one of the highest poverty rates in the region.

Nice pics all!
And Lmac, I love your reference for Le Tour de France, which I follow all summer, and you? &apls &apls

I know I do - but I think Lmac follow it all winter instead.  :)

In any case the reference is quite brilliant.

300... 200... 100... 50... 40... 30... 20... 10

Yep, I still got it.

@giullaume: I love watching it but the only problem is that it's broadcast live at 11pm and goes through till about 3-4am depending on the stage. so waking up on a school morning i'm usually a zombie lol. Cadell Evans came so close last year!

@frdrcklim: wow thanks, I'm flattered!

@RBC: i wish i had a zoomed out pic of that cuz i was really happy with the way the surrounding area turned out.

@Albus Of Garaway: what sort of network are you using in that pic? in my rural areas ive been using streets and roads and i absolutely hate the sidewalk (had to check myself, its pavement in australia) that comes when anything gets built adjacent to it

I love your pic, Albus of Garaway. Though I agree with Robin - border would be a nice touch

At Lmac - Albus Of Garaway is using one of SAM streets. You can download the newest version of SAM here (Windows) or here (Macintosh).

Hope that helped,
