Hi, Bernhard, yep, it's the very same, there is a day shot in the Projects thread on this side, too, and a couple in the Artistic thread.  Those are some big beautiful pics, very much your own inimitable style.  I love the train overpass in the last pic, is it a buddybud?

Bigberta, your pic is very colorful, excellent light and content, and what have you used to edge the plop water?  Is the wall Shandypest's?

shoreman905, it looks like farms fairly burst forth with the CAM Mod, nice variety, and it's nice to have the diagonal option.

Thanks for the nice comment, bat, you are a very faithful commenter.

Bye for now, all, happy countryside creating!

@Livin in Sim: Glad you like them ... I hope I can do at least another big update shortly (and I mean shortly, not like before ...) showing that area of the trestle which is not BuddyBud but one of the three trestles from JayStimson Link 1, Link 2 and Link 3. They are plopped onto the railway unlike BuddyBud's skisn that are plopped next to the railway/street etc.

Bernhard

Here is a shot of some rural farmlands in the region that I'm developing.

shoreman905

Living in Sim Jmyers is the creator of all those great farms. I guess a perk of being a CAMster is getting to use such works of art. These really are the best farms I have seen, and the slope tolerant farm fields takes agriculture one huge step forward compared to Maxis field on a foundation mess. Thank Jmyers, I know I do.
Jmyers Sorry I haven't been in here in a day or two, been testing. I use farm_street_cp_seasonal_V1 along with diagonal dirty streets extended. I found that they give a real lively look to the roads and enhance your works. (oh, forgot, the timber lots are really great, it is a touch or realism I have looked for, for a long time, thank you)
Folks, you are going to love CAM if you like big cities, or rural. there are so many suprises waiting for you with this one. A massive amount of work has gone into CAM and is still going on. Keep checking the CAM Development thread.

That are a big number of farms! Great shot,l.h.!

Travis, very nice pictures.  I love those power lines!  And the first picture is very scenic, great work.

Nice pictures Travis. I especially like the pond and the person fishing in that wee boat.

Thank you both.  :) That fishing boat on the pond is indeed charming. ()stsfd()

&apls Travis that's great. Totally loving that last pic
The most astounding and unique aspect of the human race is our fervent application of our ingenuity to kill each other, thus completely defying the near-universally proven fact that the ultimate goal of a member of a species is to ensure the survival of the species.

shoreman905

I have one here of Jmyers new CAM farms that illustrates just how special his lots and bats are.

Livin in Sim

Hi, all,

Hey, Bernhard, thanks for the links--those look great.  I will be using them.

shoreman905, yes, I have downloaded everything of Jmeyers' that I can get my peapickin' paws on.  The new ones with the "country cousin" aspect of the CAM are quite attractive.  Nice pic, and I see it is more than holding its own in the Contest.

l.h., you have really put a lot of work into that region, it looks Google Map-ish.

Travis, the little pond is just darling, very nice detailing and realism.  I love the different electrical wires.  Here in the States they do usually have a treeless belt under them to prevent fires and aid access, but that is a minor detail that doesn't detract a bit from the loveliness of the composition.  May I inquire where you found the little boats and dock?  They are just perfect!

Is anyone up for a Sunday drive through some more boonies?  If so, please hop in!

Thanks for going along, bye for now.

Thank you Liv- In fact I usually leave out trees under the power-lines, but I thought it looked nicer in that pic this way, so I left
them in.  :) The fishing boats and dock were props made by simgoober, but unfortunately, I can no longer find them.  :(

Travis, where'd you get that dirt road leading up to the comm tower?

And Shoreman, that farmhouse and pasture are amazing.

Nardo: Wow.  Just wow.

LivinInSim:  Your color is good, but the composition is a little bland.  If you worked on that, your pics would be great.

PS: Does anyone know where I can get a good rice paddy lot?  I'm making a southeast asian CJ.

@Wheezy, those dirt roads are found here: http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=16301

Thanks for the comments everyone!

EDIT: Guess I'll throw one more in...

A campground...

bat

A lot of nice pictures @ all! Great work!

Copperalis

Travis - a nicely laid out campsite with good use of custom tracks. The earlier forest pictures also look good.

Here's one of mine - a wooded valley side with farmland on a plateau.

bat

Great picture, Copperalis! Also nice using of the trees!
