Hello and welcome to my new MD. This MD will feature the Tri-Cities Metropolitan Area. Now I am not going to post normall updates of my city. I am going to make this MD a whole new experience for you. How will I make this MD unique you say? Well, I came up with a crazy idea. I take a normal picture of my city, then post four other images with special graphics. I have Adobe photoshop so there is unlimited supply of tools I can use. I will start you of slow for now. Later there will be some mindboggling pictures! This is how my MD will be unique; to show one picture in different ways. I will also have a CJ on Simtropolis which will focus on the growth and development of the Tri-Cities Region. That CJ will go on in about a week (1/22-23/10) Maybe I will post a normal update every now and then. WARNING: This MD will feature pictures that will display unique and enhanced Photoshop skills. Please don't stare at them too long. YOU have been warned!

I think it is proper to start off any MD/CJ with a downtown. Here is Downtown Arlington:

Hope you lliked the first of many successful updates! You are in for a whole new experience!

Very interesting - I'm courious about how this will develop!
If it's a good idea, go ahead and do it. It's much easier to apologize than it is to get permission.

Nice picture! But yeah, like mightygoose said, try to have different pictures. Anyways, nice start!

EDIT: See second post for why I said what I said.

Battlecat

Interesting idea to present the same image with several different photoshop treatments.  Nice looking urban area, I'm looking forward to seeing more soon!

bob56

great start! I really like your downtown-It has a lot of variation, I don't see any duplicate skyscrapers.
Only criticism I have is to use different pictures. Maybe one normal, then one photoshop of the same picture, then move on to a different picture.

I'll be watching this MD.

Well, I suppose that's what this MD is all about - showing the same picture with different PS treatments  ()stsfd() .. at least that's how I did understand it.

Nice looking city there, and good job with the rain as well  &apls

Great to see something new from you, Chris! Your approach is certainly unique, and it's great to see how different you can make the same picture look simply by using different filters and adjustments on it. It shows how powerful Photoshop can be. Arlington looks great, too - more of your excellent workmanship!

I'll be back for more!

Feel brand new. Be inspired.
